Yes, I have said that repeatedly. In fact there should be at least one more than the total jobs at all times. But since Blue Mage has 3 roles there should be at least 3 for that alone. I'm just saying the more the better. :D

Let me help you bump this.

How about a complete redesign of the glamour plate system? Why are glamour plates even a thing still? There shouldn't be a limit imo.. it's so outdated.

Id like too see 40 plates.
1 per job (Both combat and DoH/DoL) plus a few extras.

Just tiring never having enough.

Plates is actually the good part of the system, it lets you change easily. The problem is the dresser and the limited number of plates, not the actual plate idea. Having less plates than the number of jobs is actually inexcusable.

I suspect that at heart, it is a design leftover from the console world, where it is not so easy to have arbitrarily long lists of stored data. Just like how a lot of games will give you a preset number of save slots to store your progress, instead of just letting you write as many save data files to disk as you like (until the underlying file system literally runs out of index nodes, anyway).

Yes yes yes 100x times yes. ID EVEN PAY if it's like a retainer server. My expectations are incredibly low. It shouldn't be something too hard for them to implement.
TBH I'd be happy if there's just a 1:1 ratio of at least the combat classes.

With their plans to only keep adding more classes, the current amount of plates becomes less and less viable. At the very LEAST a plate for each class that could expand as they add more jobs

It worries me that plates were not discussed in the live letter :/

I would kill for a GW2-esque system for glams. If you soulbind or desynth an item, you unlock the glam, forever. Also all glams should be available on all jobs. Kinda silly that that's not already the case.

I don't know what kind of janky stuff is going on under the hood, but if each character can have 100 gearset slots, then it shouldn't be completely out of the question to have wayyy more glamor plates.

You want glamour plates well.....I agree we need like 2 more rows of glamour plates or a system that lets you store glamour designs to swap in out of plates.

Yes! Saved glamours! So we could swap out which ones are active! Honestly if they did just that, I could be happy… then special dyes wouldn’t be wasted if I had to sacrifice an active plate to make a new one. But I’d still like to see minimum one plate for all jobs… battle, limited, crafting and gathering.

I believe because Gearsets are stored locally, so their servers don't have to worry about storing that information and it's all "on you".

Please more. All of my hand and land jobs are wearing glam less and wearing the same stuff because I can't be bothered using up too many plates. Wish I could give each job the variety they deserve.

Totally agree. They need to fix the 1.0 code and get us more glamour plates! I can't even get one glam set per job/profession. This is very disappointing.

They're stored locally. When I make alts I copy-paste the files from my main. It's annoying to delete all the gearsets, but I get keybinds and every setting perfect. And it's also fairly easy to do as well.

They really need to stop using the "spaghetti code" excuse already. Yoshi said he plans on working on the game until he retires. Is he planning on using this excuse for the next 10+ years? What they really need to do is re-write the code from scratch if if they're having so many issues with the current one.

We need more plates. I heard the rumor wow is stealing our glam plate system because transmog costs there are out of hand there. Come on already steal transmog from wow already. Find the spaghetti code devs and bribe them out of retirement to fix it.

Now that the glam sets are all in, this would have been imperative to do so as well.

You cannot dye the equipment of a glam set individually in the glam dresser. You can either do that on the plates or on yourself... Which means, no more going around the glam plates with glamouring your pre-dyed look directly onto yourself. (Or using pre-dyed items in the plates.)

Please, add more glamour plates. Many more.

Ps. Even if I missed something and the set items can be dyed individually in the dresser, we still need many more glam plates.
