As someone with intimate... Reading experience: They themselves admitted to not having a test environment whatsoever. In fact, a big part of the delay was in an effort to make one on the fly, which implies lack of testing no matter how you'd want to frame it.
To say nothing of the wisdom of putting a lightweight output generator supposedly on a completely different structure which creates a failure point between it and the main server, which then failed. And now we're in this mess. This should've never been possible to begin with if under a competent project manager's eye and you shouldn't need to create a testing environment after the fact if you presumably tested it. And while I don't doubt your experience, it's odd to bring Client/Server knowledge when this was completely internal. This was an inter-server error, nothing to do with the client.
Regardless, as entitled as it may sound, there's no way to make this look good without a blanket reward for all who engaged in the market because the alternative, as we see, is spawning envy. PR, believe it or not, as it is it's own skill which you clearly lack if you think this the only possible out of all this mess. This is a concept even the scummiest gacha is privy to, so why the team seems unable to grasp such simple developmental and PR concepts is beyond me. There's a reason completely different people get hired for this kind of thing. This is, again, something that can and should be laid at the feet of the project manager.
Hi, Yoshi. You seem to be losing your touch, huh?
EDIT: Just to dispel belief, since this community loves to strawman, I have an apartment and refused to engage with this absolutely BRAINDEAD implementation of housing that feels like a MOCKERY to have gone on for ten years, to say nothing of Yoshi's insulting attitude on the matter when confronted. So I'd get nothing either way. This is just plain how things work.
