Yeah, Square produces some pretty low-quality figures and statues.

See: Play Arts Kai/Bring Arts. They also love their translucent plastics way, way too much.

it's a good thing that it only effected the first batch and was fixed to be a better quality later then. mine doesnt look anything like that, and i believe those who received the messed up ones was able to send them back in to get the fixed version

As I mentioned before, Square figure and statue merch is renowned for being janky. It's a bit better now than it was before, but it's still... rough. I am grateful that they didn't think to make a statue of my favorite XIV character(s) or I might be tempted to buy it despite knowing it'll probably come out super wonky.

I'd think if you had the emote you should be embarassed to use it, and let everyone know you paid $220+ for a crappy badly painted statue that my 3D printer and a can of paint would do better on.

Nope, not embarrassed. I work 10 hour shifts, 5-6 days a week and have been for years. If I can afford something, why shouldn't I be able to buy it and use it? If you have a problem with someone using something that they worked hard for and bought, then that problem is on you. Not them.

This person is running on emotion and not logic. Ironic, since Omega is all about logic and not emotion. It's just an Emote, not like it really matters lol
