I don't want to transfer, so WHY are you forcing me to?

I had a feeling if SE gave in and said, "Ok for those who made a mistake we may help you," there would be others coming from all over saying "Hey that's not fair, transfer me too! I missed out/messed up because of ______!"

I'd still give calling the GMs a shot, Zottan. As Bayohne said, they'll deal with this on a case by case basis. Hopefully the GMs will have some compassion and realize this guy physically could not log onto his account.

SE should not give you an exception over many others. There were many options available that could have prevented this. In real life the bills still have to be paid and one time events are missed when hospitalized.

There are too many jumped the ship/abandonment and didn't read/research just clicky complaints in this thread. I didn't get lucky with an open spot to transfer to Balmung as it didn't not go well with my work schedule. Just in case this didn't happen (Which it didn't) I made a new character on Fabul as a last resort.

So I started over, however I'm on the server I wanted to be on to join friends. I'm not blaming SE as it really isn't their fault. So if you enjoy the game, start over and get those "friends" to help you that didn't before.

Just want to let u guys know...

I have a friend who also join this game recently. And when the world merger application were there, he also applied for default server since he already made some friends.

And the next thing he knew, he got thrown to totally different server and lost all his friends and LS. What happens next? He quit this game.

That... is a very sad days. Even tho we were in different server, we can't share some stories anymore and felt lonely. :(

This might happen to me too. Luckily:
a. I didn't even applied to world merge application.
b. I had suspicious feeling something might gone wrong if I do that.

SE had better think some new ways to fix this. Missing friends really "sux" in a bad way. :(

i hope they will add payd character transfer in 2.0.
