(EU/PAL) In-Game Item Campaign with ShopTo!

Finally got it working, bought the digital timecard and checked out with paypal, used paypal balance. then i just checked the order tab. and clicked on the "Processing" tab and then it said something about unlocking promotional code/Product Code. I might have gotten lucky. There was a little "symbol" saying about downloading just above order, i clicked on that and then i got options about unlocking codes.

Hope this helps anyone... >.< I was waiting around like a plum, unaware that i could just unlock the codes instantly.

Took me around 3 hours to get it actually working though. I had to keep making my account again because of god awful error 500. Move over Bahamut! you got competition...

Bought digitally, worked wonderfully for me.

I can't even register an acount there as it so forces me to do.
And to have two items shiped home to me before i can order something else? That confuses me quite alot

Some news on my side I guess. Here is what the customer service told me à few minutes ago :
" As paypal flagged the EU payments this has affected the orders when we released these. We have refunded this payment, once received back please place the order again and this will go through correctly for you. We apologise for this issue and this has been resolved with paypal for future orders."

Edit : I had my refund and ordered again. Now waiting... again.

Edit2 : It worked ! Now I have to get the refund for my bf's order x_x

Does someone know if we can order twice and get two codes ? Or do we need two shopto accounts to get two codes ?

So some people are saying this campaign includes Australia then others are saying only if those Australians have an EU Account... I always assumed all Australians would have an EU Account. Can anyone clarify (perhaps a moderator)? Do Australians use this event to get the in-game items or will there be another event?

If you make two separate orders you get two sets of codes. Preordered FFXII Steelbook version and it was billed and dispatched on Wednesday I think, and today I bought a digital game time card and after maybe 10 min-ish wait I saw the completed order on my account. However I received no confirmation emails or receipts whatsoever regarding the second buy, only the PayPal receipt, so that was a bit weird, especially considering I got four emails when they took the money & sent the game for XII. But got the codes from the orders page.

After some hours the money from the original "none to be found" order was automatically added to my ShopTo balance. Original order seems to have gone *poof*. I just used the money in the balance to purchase it again and got all codes by now.

Note: Nothing was showing in the Order section of my account for the initial purchase. Nothing was in the balance either. Payement on Paypal was in "Pending" state for hours.

I BOUGHT a game time card yesterday when they had stock(PayPal send them the money), today, i checked my ShopTo account Orders and guess what, nothing.
I realized something though, they send me the money i payed onto the SHopTo account without telling me anything, what happened? game time cards were already out of stock again.Seems like they charged my order but they didn't realize they were out of stock.I told them to refund the money back to my PayPal, i'm done :(.
Good job on both sides, i'll wait for the Mogstation to have it or either wait for another promo.

I actually had both payment options, paid by card without a problem. Cancelled my preorder of the physical code, went to the digital code, entered credit card number and that was it. It also generated my dlc codes immediately, I didn't even wait a minute. Guess I was lucky lol

I did the same. I went for the digital one after cancelling my back order for the physical one, Pay pal gave me the option to create/enter a Pay pal account or to process with the payment as a guest, I did it as a guest with my credit card and it worked, i got the code.

I asked the same questions a few post back. I am in Australia and the region I have is EU. I also previously thought that Australia will automatically have an EU region. In any case, you can verify your region from the SE page. Also, I have successfully been able to get the codes just a few minutes ago. As to whether there will be another event for Australia, not sure about that.

Is really great ... teaming up with a site that hardly works ( been trying for days now and i keep getting errors ) guess i will miss out of this .. sigh


Just add it to the DAMN mog station already...

This website is so sketchy, if it wasn't partnered with SE I would have never used it, i'd highly suggest finding a more reputable site for promotions next time, something people would actually use.

I got the items today and it was really painless, thank you SE, and to lakukisu for keeping us updated and ironing out any issues that the campaign may have had.

Thanks SE for failing a campaing AGAIN. Before it was an impressive failure with magazines from UK (of three ordered and payed only one ever arrived), now situation is not a bit better. Maybe even worse - i can't ever register on shopto.net.
At the beggining this website blocks EVERY IP (used 3 different ISPs and asked friends to register an account with the same result - no result at all). OK, used proxy. After that shopto.net refuses to accept my bank card. Same card, shich is successfully accepted by Amazon, PayPal, Square Enixes Mogstation, PlayStation Store, XBOX LIVE store and many other instances is blocked by this shitty market...
Thank you Square Enix for you endless hatred towards your customers...

P.S. - did you know, that SE's official store DO NOT ship DIGITAL codes to countries, which is listed as acceptable upon registration, but where they don't ship any physical copies? ^_^ "We can't deliver a physical copy to you, but we can't also send you a digital code as well!"

World of FF was removed because they won't be restoke by SE on this item. But, you can still order it on they're website from a reseller or something, it's more expensive than when it was on the campain but you can order AND get the codes too, just need to ask them. (i got my codes this way this morning).

I still have the purchase done and i still havent recieved my code.... i just want my money back and thats it.... I'll get something else

Meanwhile, I can't even create an account and support is not helping at all...

Have you tried going to your ShopTo account and clicking the "Orders" tab then click the item you purchased? It should then list the bonus items and you can click "Activate" and your codes will show. Then you can enter the bonus item codes on the FFXIV special promotional site and validate them. The Game Time card code however is used in the Mogstation.

logged in my account on shopto planning to get the game time card but says out of stock. can you just put the items on mogstation sqeenix pls.

They have digital ones in stock on there, bought one yesterday. Personally was a very smooth transaction. Had both the time card code and DLC codes instantly ^^

Ok, nothing new, used proxy and tried to enter credit card info - got "4043: The Vendor Rule Bases disallow this card range."

I actually passed this promotion until they announced the digital cards.
When they did, I bought it straight away (via card) (didn't they say we HAD to use paypal? rofl) And got my codes straight away, I've had an account with Shop to for over 3 years and they have ALWAYS been brilliant. I can't help but think this promotion has probably tarnished their reputation in a few peoples eyes, but oh well.

Bought a timecard and received both codes but only the timecard one works. The one for the cloud mount + gear is invalid. A mate of mine got the same problem.

Nvm. Solved it. Entered the code via mog station instead of redeem.finalfantasyxiv.com/en

I just want to say major props to the marketing/promotion team for setting up this campaign as it's been by far the best you've done so far for European players (IMO). Thanks!

My bank cards accepted by PayPal, PSN, Xbox Live, Game.co.uk, Amazon (US and UK)... And, ta-dah!!!... Shopto.net decided that my card is "broken".

I don't know for sure (since it worked for me 1st try yesterday) but you can link your paypal account to the website, if you manage to "pass through" the register card stuff which doesn't works for you.

I know about PayPal option... But as you already wrote it - i CAN'T pass through registering very same card, accepted and confirmed (you have to provide your ID documents to do that ^_^) by PayPal.

Hopefully they just send the code, because this order has been a full week in the making because of all the issues with the site.

If im not wrong russia is eu region but looks like shopto banned registration from russian ip and dont accept our credit cards.Is it fair?

I never got this error being in Russia as well. Only billing address error message after a warning that my CC would be processed... without being asked for any CC info at all. And now I'm getting "an account already exists" messages for both of the emails I was trying to use over and over for the last 5 days. And customer support ignores me completely after their first very brief reply of telling me to try the registration process from the beginning!
