Aether Data Center Not allowing Me to Connect

I was in the middle of doing my Amalj'aa dailies when I DC'd. That was four hours ago. I've been trying on and off to get back on since and I've gotten an error every time, whether it's the 10xxx, 9000x, or the 2002 error.

Yeah I dced about 1.5 hrs ago and now cannot get back on. I was in POTD soloing for hours beforehand with no issues, decided to take a break and switched characters, haven't been able to get back on since. Guess that will teach me to try to log off!

Are they ever gonna fix this thing? Geez!

I got DCed hours ago as I started RPing. Got a random DC (I very rarely get DC'ed), and when trying to login gave me one of the errors mentioned in the posts before mine. Thought "fair enough", and restarted client. Unable to go past the Start game menu sometimes, other times I can go to character select and it allows me to even try to login but the loading screen with the moogle suddenly turns into one of the 5 digit errors, proceeding to bring me back to the Start Game menu, and there is a chance that that one is still going to not allow me to get into the lobby. People I was playing with were still logged in and happily playing, which makes it really odd.

My internet is working fine, and I live in the UK. My main is in Balmung server (and only real character I play). Was looking to spend a pleasurable all nighter to play this but it seems chance is not on my side. I have not been able to get into the game since that DC. I try every now and then only to find the same errors repeatedly. Looked around for some note, some warning from them, anything... but nothing, which is unfortunate.

Would love this to get fixed as soon as possible, or at least to get acknowledged.

Here we are .....11:00pm is when the disconnection happened for me....Alabama btw...Attuverse... tried logging back in at 11:02pm....its now 4am....almost 4:15am....and still getting the error 2002....Welp..guess that means bed time for me...What exactly am I paying for when I can't play??? I mean, it is eating my sub right for as long as I am paid up and offline it is eating my sub for the days that I am missing right? Compensation Pl0x!

Cactaur no go for me and friends now this morning. Constant xx02 errors when trying to connect too data centre.

If they can't fix the issue until tomorrow, fine.

But I just find 5+ hours of NO WORD or any ACKNOWLEDGEMENT to be really insulting.

Same problems here. 2002 error then repeated 10105 whenever I try to select a character.

Best part is, it's not like they're asleep. They posted how they got rid of bots/RMT Advertisers.

Nah, that stuff is automatic most of the time using patterns, no human beings required.
But I'm pretty impresses to see how many people can't play right now. This thread became big in such short time and no Mods are around currently.
Time to play something else I guess? :p

I haven't even gotten in game. The game was working fine at around 10:30pm EST but currently at 5:45am, the issue is still occurring.

I can sometimes log in to the character select screen, but during the loading screen, I get a 900002 and get booted to main menu, try to reconnect and get error 2002. (Sorry if I messed up the error codes).

Hope they get this fixed soon!

Trying for about an hour now and also i cant seem to connect. its sure not on my side. other datacenters work just fine. and also havent changed internet settings in quite some time as it always worked. i hope it doesnt take long for them to solve the problem or id have 12hr on my hand without anything to do.

Even tried connecting to another data center, (Aether and Primal have my characters unfortunately.) both give the same errors though I haven't gotten the 2002 one in a while. Just 10105, 90002 and such. Seems NA players kind of got shafted with this one.

I just wanted to finish my Atma Relic. :(

then it would still be on SE's side. cause i dont know/do anything with the level 3 thing. long words short. lets just hope they solve it soon. wherever the problem is. i dont even know about this level 3 in europe.

I've never had connection issues until after 10:30pm EST and it's now 6:05am EST and still can't log on. Not my internet or router, it's their servers.

Hmmm, connected to Chaos data server just fine. Only getting these errors on NA servers.
Even with low latency from NA to EU I can connect to Chaos. The further away server works but the closer one doesn't.

It will occasionally allow me onto the character selection screen when I pick my character it will give me the 2002 error again and if I retry right after I get the error right away.

Still can't get in after some five hours. Would be nice if someone would reply as to what's going on.

I have been unable to log in the past 2 hours..Got up early to play. Lol :( wish they would post something. My character on Gilgamesh is just fine though.

Same here, but I am on Gilgamesh. Error 2002, 90002 also. Haven't been able to login today.

People seem to be blaming Level3 communications. Maybe they got ddos'd so badly they dunno which way is up.
Bet you could test other servers by them right now and get the same results.

It's now 648 am and I still can't get in and from Levi server and still get 2002 error so I wonder if we will get in at all?

No connection at all across 3 characters, 2 different accounts....I am annoyed

would the NA datacenter be in a way connected to Level 3 then? cause EU and JP work fine as for what i tested 30min ago

On Gilgamesh. Got disconnected around 5 or 6 hours ago, and haven't been able to reconnect since. Things like 90002 and 10105 every time I try. Can't believe that it hasn't even been acknowledged yet, let alone fixed...

Same here on Faerie. Constant disconnects then takes repeated attempts to get back in then almost immediately booted again.

ya its pissing me off... im about to drop this game completely and round up about 5000 people to have them fix it and give us stuff for the inconvience...

wouldnt mind it so bad if my main wasent the one being affected. but that would apply to everyone
