I stand by what I said earlier though. This sounds like something that could work well with a controller and probably well on a single-player adventure game. With issues such as latency to the server, I doubt it would work well here. I also do not think it would be very comfortable or fun to use on a keyboard/mouse setup.

I hated that skill on my songweaver. While it works even with higher latency, it's still a pain in the butt especially if you need to dodge something. Maybe they changed it by now, haven't played aion in a while but man every time you moved it got canceled, every time you just wiggled your mouse a little bit to much it gets canceled. If this ever gets implemented and especially on healer classes, bring some potions because in fights like titan, seph, thordan or even any other trial, there will be no big heals going out if we have to hold down the button to charge the skill lol. Not sure if it would be great for players that play with controllers.

Cast Cancels when moving would be a design choice which could be removed.
Remove cast times form the actual spells and this system works as the cast timer.
Little or big heals are no longer dependant on multiple buttons.

I am of the mindset that raids need to be actual RAIDS and not glorified boss rushes.

I wonder if something like Destiny's Vault of Glass could be implemented in the game, where instead of just whacking bosses who had their own mechanics, your party had to work together to solve puzzles provided by the level architecture as well as deal with various mobs of trash on the way. Maybe Coil was like that in its heyday, maybe those concepts don't work in a proper MMO.

All I know is that though I started seriously playing around the time HW came out, and this being my first real MMO; I find myself disappointed with Alexander and longing for the days of Coil.

I have to say I loved the jumping puzzles and running by the medusa guys.

No it's too tedious or time consuming. It's a detriment to the duty finder....

I can, the question is can you keep the puzzle a puzzle in its 60th run through. imagine the return of parley as a usable game mechanic!
