well lets see.. its to early... but i think it would have made the classes in FFXIV much more colorful... than just having puristic classes with "no extras". i like hybrids, petclasses in the game for more variety, thats my matter of taste.
bard and paladin are classes for example which are putting more excitement into the class system... a gladiator can totally switch to an other role, with magic heal power and maybe auras as well.. while gladiator is a puristic shield tank without magic.
but what a lancer can turn into? still stick to the puristic polearm warrior? well maybe im missing the second job option you could chose as a lancer
well and you dont get the point... gladiator is the basic class in this case.. and gladiator is a puristic shield melee tank without group supporting spells, healing magic and auras or something like it..Quote:
