Lol I did suggest Yellowbull to him earlier.

He could go for the energy drink brand I drink but 'Emerge' wouldn't quite sound right.

Yep, you can name your chocobo exactly the same name as someone elses, they're not server-unique.

I want to stay with the whole Neuromancer theme I have going. I wanted Marcus Garvey as my choco's name because it's the name of a space ship piloted by a Rastafarian in Neuromancer.

Looks like the name of your chocobo won't be displayed in the log for others to see in 1.19. Now no one will know if your chocobo is named Bayohne or not... that is until in the future, when the battling alongside your chocobo-related content is implemented, then others will be able to see its name.

Then the horde of Bayohne chocobos will rise up and smite the forum trolls alongside their masters!

Ok... it won't be so much like jedi.

If I call mine Haruhi or Suzumiya will it suddenly gain the powers of a god and reshape the game as I see fit? :p
