When/Why were you vote kicked?

I was kicked out of The Dragon's Neck once. No idea why. It was my first time doing the encounter, I even told the group i was new and nobody even replied. I'm guessing I weren't cool enough ._.

But then i ran the duty again and cleared it! Weird group i was in.

I did Copperbell Mines HM today, I was the healer and as always, I kept everyone alive and did dps aswell. When we reached the final boss, I got a Direct X error and my client closed down. I came back online and discovered that I was kicked out of the group. It took me 5 minutes to log back in and people did not have the patience to wait that long.

/sigh.

Got kicked from A1 yesterday after being told that I wasn't healing enough and it was why we kept wiping... after DPS failed on the adds + debuff, after tanks took their sweet time dragging the oppressors away(we got to 3 stacks on each), (currently progressing on A2S) ><

Doing PVP after 25 minutes of waiting get into a group full of WAR&SMNs. None of em wanted to heal so guess i'll just have to change my class and do it. We're losing bad. Team is only focusing on the enemy's

Bad chase of tunnel vision, Tell them to spread for new nodes the ignore me. I do and i get two nodes. Some person rages at me, 20 seconds later i get kicked.
Requeue in progress, get into a new match that was already going on for a while, 500/800 200+ point lead. we are winning, Thank you karma.

Got kicked the other day in Brayflox by random French group.The run was going ok.Tank was struggling a fair bit holding agro off my bard but no deaths yet.Then after second boss i realised the reason everyone was taking so much damage.Asked the astrologist for protect.They started talkign to each other in french.Asked again got called idiot.Then they say to me 'his main is blm noob'Then looked to see the astrologist didn't bother lvling conjurerer to lvl 8 for protect.Asked why they didn't do that.Got cursed at by tank and asked did i need kick.Told them not to curse at me.Then they curse in French.Then tank and healer refuse to play if i stayed and they kicked me after loot roll.....

Only time I've ever been kicked happened very recently after Expansion came out. Average item level was still around 175. I was tanking Neverreap. Got through all the way up to the wasps just before second boss. No problems. No deaths. Never lost aggro. Got killed by Final Sting because the Dps didn't kill the wasps fast enough ... and then got booted. They didn't say a word to me the entire run. They just immediately vote kicked me following a death that was the direct result of slow Dps. Last thing I saw was the healer eating a second Final sting to the face just before I got booted. So... I'm thinking their run didn't go very smoothly after that.

Did an expert today said hello to the group and waited for the healer to buff and they didn't throw a protect after 1 min of us waiting so I was like okay might as well run ahead a bit. While I ran the healer casted protect and I missed it then the healer started yelling at me saying "why did you dodge protect? are you a noob?". To which I replied with i'm sorry can you just cast it on me, and after that the healer didn't cast it on me and said nothing.

We start pulling and I notice the healer isn't healing me at all, I popped living dead and conva saying that I need heals, healer did nothing casted Benediction on the Black mage. I just sat there in awe asking why I never got a heal? The healer said nothing again until we wiped and then finally says "I'll never heal a tank that dodges protect and stonekin" I said really? C'mon you can cast it anytime during/out of combat. They started getting even more offended and the Smn in the group started saying that I was a bad tank for dodging protect and then the vote kick happened and I sat there trying to comprehend what had happened.

Today I was kicked of Halatali (normal, playing as dps) because I thought tank was going to die and I used LB in normal pull. They did not complain in party chat, only kick. Well, I cannot blame them.

Healer sounds utter garbage tbh and they were wrong, not you.

Well, skipping the "connection dropped, you take 3 minutes to log back in and you're out", I've got kicked a few amount of time.
I have a really bad habit of starting to act douchey when people do stupid things in a dungeon.
For example, if the tank has a really bad attitude, never bother to keep aggro and that the dps has to tank most of the fight, I'll stop healing them. If they're low lvl, I'll give some tips, but if they just outright ignore you or don't care, why should I?
Just yesterday, I was tanking amdapor NM for the 1st relic (aiming for the title atm) and I saw that the healer was propably new (around 3k hp for a healer and not even the lvl 50 torso equipped with lvl 50- jewelry).
After a first pull where I saw he was struggling, I decided to take smaller packs to make it easier. At some point, the BRD started pulling next pack to bring them to me, got tired of it and stopped taking aggro on the mob he pulled. If they aggro it, they deal with it.
Got kicked soon after this, proc an instant queue right after and cleared it in around 15 minutes so not even mad.
I know I might sound like an awful player to other people, but I can't be bothered if other people aren't bothered too, I rather get kicked and join again with a nice group than deal with unpleasant people.

First and only time was in Labryth of the Ancients.

Didn't have UI setup yet to see what party I actually belonged to amongst the other 23 players.

Got kicked (I think? DCing has booted me from a dungeon before) when I DC'ed for a bit... tank was new but that was no big deal, it happens. We were getting through the dungeon.

Probably was kicked though because after logging back in the game decided to close completely, so it took me, like, fifteen minutes to log in again. Thanks, game.

I like your gamestyle.
I'm mainly a healer and I like it when tanks make big pulls, because it forces me to my limits and let me actually be a healer, instead of a DPS with some heals here and there. However, making smaller pulls, when they notice that the struggle is to much, is the right decision. If another player fails to notice this and keeps on pulling, you should be allowed to teach him a lesson by ignoring him; although I feel bad for the healer, in case he tried to keep you and the BRD alive. Unfortunately, if the BRD failed to notice the healer's initial struggle and therefore your choice of changing the pullsize, he probably also failed to understand, why you didn't take the aggro of his pulls. Most likely, he thought something like: "What a stupid tank, doesn't even know his role".
Sadly, many DPS players seem to have this tunnel vision, where it's all about their damage and fail to understand the team composition and the need to adjust the teamplay.

Was vote kicked for the first time yesterday from a Rav EX farm party because I fudged a few mechanics. Was one of those "too many mistakes = kick" party. By my definition, "mistake" means you cause the party to wipe. They wiped once, and it was 'cause the tank took a flying leap off the platform, not my mistakes, which were relatively minor. ._. (I think I made like... five the entire time I was with them, and only the first two caused me to die.) I think they finally decided to kick me when some severe lag set in (wonderful timing) and I couldn't see anyone moving, so I didn't see the DPS standing in my AoE circle with me. Bugged me a bit at first, but then I shrugged it off, because I'd rather go with a group where people are nice and are playing both to get neat glamours AND have fun~.

This wasn't me, but it's another vote-kick story: I was in Snowcloak, and a DPS had to go AFK. We were at that one part after the second boss with the explody ice sprites, and the tank had already started pulling when the DPS said he needed a minute. The DPS comes back and just says "..." then initiates a vote kick to kick the tank for "harassment". Of course, I vote "no", and tell him he should have said he had to go AFK BEFORE the tank started pulling. (And it really wasn't that big of a deal, because no one died despite being down one DPS... wasn't like I was the one who was afk.) Well, the other DPS must have been his buddy, because the two of them voted to kick the tank. (Ironically they were both Lalas too, LOL.) Then they just casually queued up for another tank. This pissed me off beyond belief, so I gave 'em a piece of my mind before abandoning the duty to leave them stuck looking for both a tank and a healer. <3 (Seriously, that tank did NOTHING wrong. Was actually a nice guy too.)

I was kicked as a tank for not speed running in Dusk Vigil by the dps since they demanded it be speed run i did not want to speed run and nor did the healer but it seems 2 people are all you need to control the vote kick in 4man. I did laugh over it odds are no tank joined for quite some time if at all and ending up wasting there own time as i just got an instant pop and did Solm al.

There has been a few other times but not sure if that was a vote kick when i crashed or if i when i crashed i was removed form the party it self.

The only time I remember being kicked was during a run in Copperbell Mines because everyone kept attacking the slime and whenever I'd try to summon a bomb they'd kill that too. I explained it before doing it and then once again after I saw the mess they were doing, but at the third strike I just sat my character in a corner, put the controller down and went to launch. When I came back I had been kicked.

I've never been vote kicked, and have never met anyone who has been vote kicked (to my knowledge). I'm sorry to hear that there are so many of you that have :(

Ran Expert roulette yesterday as healer (like always) with my in game husband tanking and 2 random dps completing the party, we got Pharos

Mid run trash pull and 1 dps just stands back, does nothing for a good 20 seconds and I called their name in party chat to see what was happening (they weren't DCing or anything), got nothing back.

I have a macro for throw which calls /em throws a Popoto at <t> and fired that off a couple of times playfully LOL 30 seconds later, My in game partner tells me in FC chat they tried a vote kick? I was like WTF LOL

I asked them about it and the person in question replied 'no one throws things at me without dying' >< WTF, I did laugh, (Ninja dps and I'm healing, hmm good luck killing me) LOL ><

The one that really stands out was when Crystal Tower was relevant. A player was pissed that we would use limit breaks on the trash in between bosses, saying that they need to be saved for the next boss. (Limit resets on boss pull) He convinced most of the party he was right, kicking the first one that disagreed. Kicked another, and I had continued to call him out. As we got our new replacement he used LB and got the same speech, then the new guy said in alliance "I can't believe people still dont know this about LB". I laughed in chat, was told to "kill myself" and kicked. People are great

i got Kicked after saying i dont like to tank as a Dragoon , and no i did not ninja pull or anything like that :) its a Great system 10/10

I was kicked from a dungeon to not use Rage of Halone with my Aura. I was lv 24 on a 24 dungeon from main story. And the lv of this skill it's 26.

I was leveling up Bard right after 3.0 launch. I was in a mix of greens and HQ whites. So were 99% of people in the game at that point.
The Vault, 2nd boss, zero heals. I'm using pots and second wind, but I die. No rez. Release and run back.
We clear the trash all the way up to the last boss.
Tank: You don't have enough DPS to get through the orb phase.
Healer: Bard dps is ****, I'm not healing you.
Me: Well, I do zero damage when I'm dead, so maybe try doing your job.
Screen goes black.
"You have been dismissed from the party."

I was having a bad night on the final boss of Sohm Al. I had run the dungeon numerous times at that point and had no issues. I'm the white mage. That night I just could NOT get the timing down on the last boss. So we wiped, and wiped, and wiped again. I apologized and explained that I was having some timing issues but to please bear with me. It finally clicked, we got to the wings stage....and both DPS die. My mana was already pretty strained by this point, because the other three were taking a lot of damage. So I couldn't keep up with the aoes and keep myself and the tank alive and rez them. We wiped again, although I was the last one alive. When I landed back at the entrance, I got the dismissed message. It's kind of put me off that dungeon now.

I've been kicked a few times for using logic... Most recent one was the last time I did an Expert Duty Roulette about 2-3 weeks ago (which I haven't done another one since) and I landed in the Arbortorium (or whatever it's called with the Belladonna) and we start fighting the start of the dungeon, after the first mega pull, I get questioned by the tank why I have a piece of Vitality Jewelry on my BLM, in which I reply that I have it on so it doesn't hinder my iLvl but also cause I can only have 1 BLM Esoterics Ring, why not get something to offer more health/defence in case something goes horrifically wrong and that way I can hold out a little bit longer. We then continue through to the first boss and we kill it and the loot comes up, I pass like always, then run to the safe spot before the next mobs. The suddenly I get the message that I've been kicked... I was very confused and have given up on duty roulette a since because this isn't the first time this has happened.

So in A4 as a DRG probably the wrong choice since its way above the Ilvl, tank runs up then we all start our attack after 10secs I had hate so I use elusive jump, after a couple more secs I'm back on the top hate list so I stop attacking so the tank can re establish hate, then I continue back up I get hate again >_> but at this time the stupid machine pulls both tanks in stasis I guess cause neither had the full hate lol so I die then of course like dominoes everyone else dies....

We restart both tanks tell me to learn how to play my class, I just say okay and apologize...but nevertheless I got kicked right after I press enter lmao now I'm scared to do a rotation...

Then you would have loved playing Left 4 Dead 2 where you can call a vote kick on anyone without saying anything and people will blindly vote yes.

For poking fun at my parties tank in VA the other day. He was the most geared, but as WAR, obv his epeen made him want to dps. Basically all of the tanks were cowards and no one wanted to MT. Hate got passed around causing a wipe, after which my tank started bragging about how his triple fell cleave stole hate. I made fun of him for swinging around his fell cleave like e peen against an undergeared tank, and he must have had some friends in the party, because kick.

Was really nice as the team was a definite fail team, and half the alliance had left, but before I could an new member came in. Kicked saved me the penalty and I got right back into a new one.

I was on Thordan looking for an kill team. I saw a farm group and I ask for come in the group because I was xp. They said yes and we go for it.
7 men with a kill from the same FC and I was the only one with no kill. The DPS was good but everyone was dying try after try, wipe after wipe and I was always the last man to survive. I was dodging all the mechanics and I was applying their rules about strat and position. And then after 4 tries ........ they kick me !

Maybe I hurt their ego ! lol !

Brayflox NM, was the healer there. DRK wasn't managing his mana properly, turn offs grit at times, and losing aggro because he's not using unleash on aoe pulls. IHe's also running out of mana somehow (think it was unmend spam, but it was too far back to remember). I told the DRK to use unleash more and syphon strike to restore his mana. Something about "worry about your own job" and I got vote kicked off. I was going to leave the party anyway, but that works too.

Was quiet a bit ago, Tamtara HM and I was on blm. Had a very, very lazy sch who would just plain dps, no adlos, protect only after we asked for it, and Eos as main healer (/cry). We get to the tunnels where the multiface creatures pop out of a coffin, and I got hit by paralyze3. It's a very strong para and I didn't get leeches. Partly my bad, I should have ran through but anyways, not a big deal whenever I heal it. But seemed to be a very big deal to the sch. "Leeches please?" - "Don't stand so close, I can't be arsed to watch over everyone" his words. Para wore off when they were already at the next coffin and I caught up. As I run into the room I get hit by para again, this time unavoidable since I was just catching up. I don't say anything and they run off to the boss, with me still paralyzed and unable to move. Then I get angry. "Seriously??" Screen goes black, back in Mor Dhona...

I reported the kick directing this to that sch, and GM told me there was nothing he could do, the vote kick abuse does not include players disputes... Idk what abuse is then.

I remember in duty finder expert, this ninja asked to be kicked because he did not like the way tank handled things so~ instead of voting ninja out, by mistake tank kicked healer.
Proof that people simply hit 'yes' as soon as something pops on their screen.

I've only been kicked one time, due to my wi-fi not working all of a sudden. By the time I figured out what was wrong (I had to refresh the router for some reason) I was back in Limsa Lominsa. Totally justifiable.
