Botters seem to be a problem in some of the NA Worlds, and people have been reporting that there has been the same botters since the beta of 2.0! That is very concerning to me as is the problem (already mentioned, several times in this thread by the community) with RMT spam.

It is severely hurting my ability to form friendships in the game, and I even had a good friend of mine thinking that I was ignoring her, which upset her, which in turn upset me! Such a problem shouldn't exist, it is hurting current friendships, and the ability to even gain future friendships, as a lot of players (including me) have tells on a completely separate tab and often miss the tells that come from other players.

I seriously hope this isn't just brushed aside and ignored in the Q&A. The way this problem is handled in the expansion will be the deciding factor of mine and quite a few other player's decision, when it comes to staying with the game.

Otherwise, continue the great work on FFXIV!

Are there any plans for joint private housing for those who took part in the ceremony of eternal bonding?

The login screen has basically been an ugly web page since the 2.0 launch. It still has many deficiencies:

1) It's not nearly as beautiful as the character/world selection screen or FFXIV itself (or the FFXI/PlayOnline login screen)

2) Even if you're already logged into PSN, you have to retype your password (and possibly a single-use password) every time to log into FFXIV (rather than saving the password and having the single-use password automatically read from software or a USB key)

3) Besides too much typing, many clicks/button presses are required to start the game (and you can't just keep hitting "x" because you need to select buttons on the first login screen before you can press them!)

4) Lodestone/topics videos are still not playable on PS4. :(

Whenever I switch between PS4 and PC (and hopefully Mac, soon!) I need to re-do all of my hotbar settings, macros and gear sets, because they are saved locally and there doesn't seem to be any way to share, upload, or download them.

Currently you can transfer data from PS3 to PS4, but not the other way around, and not to or from PC.

Are there any plans for allowing you to save hotbar/macro/gear settings on the servers?

Also, are there any plans for making it easier to transfer HUD settings from one PC (or Mac) to another?

p.s. I also echo everyone else's thanks (!!) for the ongoing hard work of everyone in the FFXIV team, not just in creating FFXIV:ARR but also continuing to improve and expand the game in fun and exciting ways, and also keeping in touch with the community on forums and in events!! I do hope the dev team and everyone who works so hard on the game can take some time off to rest, relax and have fun (and hopefully have time to play FFXIV just for enjoyment too!!)

In 3.0 will the grand company and FC actions have an Increase in Action tier and addition action usages in actions?

I recently read that PS2/Xbox 360 servers for FFXI will be shutting down and that focus will mainly be on fixing bugs and balancing jobs. With this happening, does that mean that there is a chance that some of the development team from FFXI will be moved over to the FFXIV development team?

I say keep the lag. Sometimes, my NIN will cast 2 mudras in a row because of it. Like Shuriken followed by Lightning, or Lightning followed by haste. Clearly, it's working as intended.

Would it be possible to make Crystal Tower doable with just 3 tanks? It's the one tower raid I find to have the longest wait.

Can you elaborate on the Disciple of the Hand class specializations?
Will endgame crafting in 3.x require everything at 60 to be viable?

With the new jobs Dark Knight, Machinist, and Astrologian not having a base class... which we don't really know what that means exactly, would it be possible to separate Summoner and Scholar and make Summoner much more unique? With the way combat works in FFXIV it would be interesting to see Summoner use their summons as an actually part of their attacks instead of just being a debuff machine with a pet that does mediocre damage. Whenever I envision how Summoner should work I always picture the game Folklore for the PS3, or how Yuna worked in Dissidia.

You could have a Ifrit combo that would be your main damaging combo. A Garuda combo could add adds debuffs or DoTs. Titan could be shield moves or damage prevention.

Granted I'm not a game designer so I don't really know if these ideas would be good on anything other than paper but Summoner doesn't really feel like a summoner in FFXIV.

Can we please get some male swimsuits that aren't speedos?

With the news of FFXI going mobile, is there any way for this game to make it's way to the PS Vita?

With regards to Fishing and the much asked for Tacklebox, would it be feasible to remove it from the regular inventory and just having it in the Bait button "inventory"?

Since there is a stance in this game that melee should always have higher single target damage then casters. Casters should be automatically be slotted in AoE Bursts.

With regards to the queue times in the Duty Finder, the DPS of this game seem to have drawn the short straw. Would you consider separating Ranged and Melee in their own category and having dungeons that require one of each? I believe that would even the playing field somewhat making each class valuable.

With the new jobs in 3.0, will we see new attributes like Charisma or Agility? In the same light will there be light and dark elements added? Could be a good time to bring the elemental wheel.

Will players with Eternal Bonds be able to share permissions in housing? Specifically in regards to personal housing?

**Loosen Glamour Restrictions please?**

It's very unfair that Tanks can wear a lot of Mage-looking gear but Mage's can't wear tank-looking gear.

It makes no sense either as I'm the same character even if I put on robes (so if I'm strong enough to wear heavy armor, I should be able to even while casting spells, at least for the look).

I understand some gear should be kept restricted like Job-specific gear or CT/ST/WoD sets & such... but there's plenty that should become unrestricted.

Will you be implementing more personal housing zones? In Gilgamesh, there is a huge demand for Small houses but no available plots.

Is there any plans for the pvp ? New modes and rules? Even 1 vs 1 duels?

It would be awesome if you added a GL 4 with an additional effect of higher tp regen when maintaining Grease Lightning 4 (or maybe make the buff stay for 15 secs instead of 12) I lose it in almost all endgame fights and have to do some crazy risky moves to keep it and if the boss is always static after a bit i end up without tp if i have no brd o nin in pt.

Is there gonna be any offhand fishing tacklebox for fisher? 46 spaces of bait and lure is a lot.

Can you please make it so that requesting trade doesn't open instantly the trade window AND CANCEL your teleport? people have been harassing me with that pretty often.

Is there anyway to remove Inner Beast from the global cool down as it is one of the warriors only means of mitigation for tank killer hits.

Similar to how you implemented the Lightning and Snow hairstyles, is there a possibility you'll implement the Noctis hairstyle in the future?

With the finalisation of the Zodiac quest, our relic weapons have gone through a number of changes visually. Would it be possible to implement something that would allow us to use a previous appearance (say the appearance of nexus) if we have upgraded to Zeta, without the need to completely redo all the previous stages in the relic quest chain again to recreate a second weapon?

For example, would it be possible to perhaps add glamour items/weapons that appear like the different stages of the weapon (Animus, Novus, Nexus) that can be bought from the Calamity Salvager once we have completed the Zeta version of that weapon?

ie: I have Lilith Rod Zeta, but prefer the look of the Stardust Rod Nexus, but do not want to have to redo atma, animus and novus stages just for the glamour

Can you advise us if the new jobs (Dark Knight, Machinist, and Astrologian) will receive their own version of weapons in the "Relic Reborn" & "Zodiac" quest lines? (For example, to save up the quest items like atma, alexandrite, and such for those jobs.)

Will it ever be possible to upgrade our medium FC homes to a large ones without having to actually buy another home? I don't care much for the outside of the house. But would love to have more space on the inside.

Are you ever going to tighten up ilevel sync? As it stands new players (especially healers and tanks) are at an unfair disadvantage in lv 50 content (especially Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium) because they don't yet have the gear to keep up. But the only way they can get they can get the gear to keep up is to run lv 50 dungeons.

Not to mention high ilevels make dungeons too easy and boring.
