I've been informed that this is a fan site so there is hope as of yet but my friend did get a picture before the site closed with it saying £129.99 so chances are it will not change.

Let's stop discuss NISA though, it's not the place. The price in Euros is still ok as far as Square Enix and Heavensward are concerned, but the UK pricing is insane. Let's see what happens when the store re-opens, I don't have much hope they'll fix it for UK buyers but we can only officially complain from there.

The issue is this gives them ammunition next time not to release the CE because they can just turn around with the excuse well the CE sold poorly in the UK last time,, hmmm I wonder why.

although I have no doubt the CE will sell out, there are plenty of stupid people around.

I have been looking forward to getting the CE since they announced it, woke up early, been refreshing several online retail shops all day and now it transpires that it will only be available through the SE store for EU.

Well, my country is part of the EU but for whatever reason it is not supported by the SE store. I was even ready to pay the exorbitant price for the EU version but I can do nothing.

The way they have handled this is completely incompetent, locking loyal players since 1.0, or hell, anybody for that matter, at the chance of getting your products doesn't instill much confidence.

I close my eyes, SE tell us why we can't pre-order.
Release some news, for we're going insane
My fingers grow tired, tell us when we can stop hitting F5
How can we pre-order if SE can't fix this

I'd say they're screwing us both over, though UK players twice. If I convert them all to my local currency:

$130 = 953 sek
€130 = 1203 sek
£130 = 1528 sek

So Euro prices are about 300sek more expensive. About a third. GBP price is 300sek above that, i.e. two thirds of the NA price.

Edit: Ignore those, my converter was out of date. Current conversions would be:

$129.99 = 1168 sek
€129.99 = 1228 sek
£129.99 = 1724 sek

Me and my flatmate were looking to get one physical, one digital, but unless they fix this I guess we'll just screw the statue and art book and both go for digital. ¬_¬

(Was it only me, btw, who was amused by the fact that the live letter screenshots had "NA $"? Doesn't Canada use their own dollars, with a different conversion rate? Last I looked, they also counted as NA.)

By the way, what website are people talking about that's under maintenance? Is it just the EU site suffering from maint, because the NA store simply doesn't have Heavensward in its list of CE for pre-order. We're not supposed to get it for another 2 hrs, but still I'd like to know that I'm checking the correct page.

Where on earth are you finding your exchange rates, the € price is only 5.7% more than $, both are MUCH less than £

$130 = 1124 sek
€130 = 1189 sek (5.7% more than $)
£130 = 1663 sek (47.9% more than $)

Well it's Monday the 16th, and nobody has the PC CE for Heavensward available. I checked with my local GameStop and the GS official website, neither of which have it available. I was told to "Check back tomorrow to see if the system updated." Yeah.. well I'm pretty sure we were all told by SE that it would be available for purchase today.

So I decided to check the SE store, and nope... not available there either. No CE whatsoever.

What gives?

While you are fixing the store... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADD AUS/NZ to the list of countries the EU store ships to.... I DON'T care if I have to pay additional postage costs.. or that it may take longer to reach me... just being able to purchase items from that store would alleviate a lot of the aggravation felt by oceanic players right now over the CE box being online SE store only.

As a long time Australian customer of SE (console games, 6yrs of FFXI, heading to 2yrs of XIV), I am tired of being given the shaft simply because I live in an oceanic country rather than in USA or Europe... it's bad enough we have to pay in euros instead of AUD/NZD

And, I know there is an AU SE store, but that sells ONLY DIGITAL DOWNLOADS.... Please give us access to the online store only items from the EU store...

Because as stated in the live letter and an email you should have received, it doesn't go on sale for the NA till 11am PDT.

Don't buy anything outside your region.
The Heavensward licence codes are region locked. If you want to buy a JP version, be sure that your account is set to the JP region... If your account is EU or NA, the JP version will not work.

Yes. Mac is dual game and download only. The Live Letter stated this. Mac users will get ARR and Heavensward as a DL only.

I'm just really impatient when it comes to stuff like this and when I see that most people want an answer, too, I just go around the social networks and look at the tweets/posts from the official accounts.

Hopefully the final testing doesn't take 3 more hours though ;....;
