If you can't kill the heart while losing a DPS, your group is not up to it. You tend to leave a DPS in the rock for half of that phase anyway.
Swiftcast + Raise. Oh look, you have your healer back.
And that doesn't happen... It's your fault for getting hit by that. XD It's completely avoidable. And WORST case, you stand on top of one bomb and take the hit. Anyone can survive that, and if you can't, you're clearly undergeared.

rez = weakness + no mana, if you want to medica remove that you have to channel for 2s while aoe flying around while looking out for titan nuking your newly-rez-freezed healer.
1 dead dps + 1 jailed dps in titan = no fucking way to dps titan heart unless LB lv 3


the OP is wearing full darklight with allagan pieces and he still has 3.5k HP, bomb hit for 3.5k damage, go figure.

WHM and SCH both have abilities to regain MP. Chances are, you have a Bard in your group, too.
Seen it happen many times without a level 3 limit break, actually.

Uh, yeah... Bombs don't hit for that much. On anyone. Unless you get hit by MORE THAN ONE, which is your fault.

yes it hit for 3.5k hp if it hit for less people wouldnt have to bother qqing titan
and did i mention weekness? the shit that reduce 15% of your hp?

btw: whatever i am talking about is from titan heart onward. Pre heart no one ever have problem with that.

That video alone has given me pretty good motivation to finally cap. That looks so fun to do if you're chill.

I just ran into these tot love'n Titan farmers! They carried my friend and I hardcore. I am a White Mage and my buddy is a Warrior.

My buddy and I had finally got our materia together for our Relics today. We got them melded and headed on our way.

We get a Chimera group together and down him in a couple tries. Our bard learned quick, buddy Warrior learned quick. Was fun to earn something in this game.

We forgot to make a Reservation at Cafe Ala AK, so we had to wait 35 minutes to dine. No big deal. We grub'd quickly and moved on.

A couple more FCmates had promised to help us with our relic and they all logged in just in time for Hydra! Bam! We've all done it before. Wasn't even like we had to try.

Our FC's other tank logged on right in time for Ifrit. This other good buddy has done an endless amount of Ifrits and has yet to find his sword. He's stun'd through so many ifrits he need's a new keyboard. We que up, get the white's geared group I've seen in a good long while. I explain the fight. We got the tanks. I'm the healer. Our first run we got dps running into multiple charges rather than standing still afk'n. BTW that's my favorite way to die in Ifrit. You could stand still and eat one and be fine, but no you want ot move so you eat 2 and die. You have to put in extra effort to die. That's just funny. But back to story. We're through nails, Ifrit isn't really low yet, but we lose all our dps and other healer to a resist explosion and then the group up plumes. Worst time to DR stun. Ugh. I do have a level 3 LB so after the charge I get everyone up. The healer makes it, we lose a dps our 2 to outside plumes, but stabilize and kill the boss. It was the first time I pulled off a level 3lb healer raise and it didn't instant just wipe everyone again. AND GUESS WHAT! Our good buddy stun tank got his weapon! Boy did he deserve it.

The whole point my good buddy has gone Warrior was we never got an Off tank for our FC. He's a dragoon whore. Literally. His screen name has had lancer in it for over 20 years. He's a goon at heart. We kept struggling in Garuda cause we could never find a good off tank. We're finally here. We're finally ready. We get as much of our FC together as we can and jump in. We've seen the fight. We've done it as an FC to below 5% many times, but always end up losing a dps and getting behind on green add heals. But this time we got tanks that know their positions, I mark myself for the newer ranged dps to follow, and we go to work. We knock her down on our 3rd try.

Now my buddy and I are not quite geared for Titan. We got our AK gear and some DL, but aren't decked out yet. We've also never even tried it. We decide we should grind out some more Philo/Mytho's and get the last couple pieces of gear. For some random reason I tell my buddy we should try Titan so we can at least get a feel for the bombs before we start doing groups for it. We've checked out MrHappy's youtube video and learned the bomb formations already, so I say let's get a shot on DF. My buddy is apprehensive but I tell him no one wants a War tank anyways, the PLD will do it! He agrees and we que up.

The second we zone into the Titan instance I see the healer has some 3600hp. My first words to my buddy were "This healer is geared!" These silly guys start spam'n for HQ Tots! I didn't get it. I wanted to be in on the joke. I like jokes. Whatever. They pull and start rock'n it. None of the DPS are getting hit by anything. They stack tight when Titan jumps. And most of all this other freak'n healer is steal'n all the fun. So I focus on my dodge'n and try not to die. Still no dps are taking damage. Heart pop's out and it gets blown away. Wow. The circle bomb formation pop's out and I mark the first bomb so my buddy knows where to run. It goes smooth. Second bomb was the X formation. Again smooth. Then the 3x3. Oh snap we lived through it. Still dps aren't taking damage. Then I newb up. When a circle spawns on my feet I run out towards and over lap'n dps's circle. I make it out of mine but not out of his and go boom. Good learning experience. The next 3x3 of bombs gets my buddy. We sit there and talk about what we did wrong as the group carries on. We figured it out and were ready for another go. But they didn't die. Titan has a good 50% HP left and they just kept going. My buddy and I are sit'n there giggle'n as they dodge every aoe, avoid every bomb, heal through every aoe. Still they don't die. A couple minutes later they've downed Titan and the White Mage healing weapon dropped. Zomg!

So now we're sitting here farming Philo's cause we never expected to be on this step already :)

Thanks so much. It was the most epic first Titan experience that could ever be done. For every whiny DF story ever, their pain could never approach how awesome this was.

On a side note: We have a guildy that spent over 30 hours trying to get his Relic in the 2nd/3rd week. He racked up a repair bill on titan that started to bankrupt him. Just getting to tell him we got carried through on our first attempt is the best tease ever.
