I loved being in camp horizon for the first time. I was playing FFxi when I took a break and decided to listen to FFXIV's soundtrack on youtube. Listening to camp horizon's ost made me want FFXIV so badly that I ordered me a gaming PC and everything. Camp Horizon became my addiction.

V1.0 was not a bad game content wise. It had slow servers, but the fights were very good. I too loved the vast areas, with their sense of exploration and danger.

Beating the final boss from the whole Legacy story line. That whole storyline was the most fun "Final Fantasy" adventure I've had since FF X. Especially when you got back to the Grand Company leaders and they played the fanfare music while cheering. Reminded me a lot of IX because of how feel good and satisfying it was after such a long journey and a epic final boss battle. Blows the entirety XIII out of the damn water and into shame as far as I'm concerned. I felt the classic Final Fantasy magic finally rush back after so many years, two generations of waiting and it felt good.

Quit right after they released Ifrit fight. Most of my good memories are from ARR's Alpha and Beta tests.
