I don't think this was a amazon problem. It was a square problem where they sent up all the wrong codes and i really hope they give us the proper region code. Also FFXIV PS3 CE Has been sold out everywhere, so that might be a hot commodity

When you submitted your 18 digit code it spat out a PC code on the next screen even though you selected PS3? Or did you only look at the email?
Yeah, it's not Amazon's fault. I just don't understand why it seems like I need a different Square Enix ID depending on what I want to do, and why all of these seem to default to EU. I guess I'd rather just download it to PS3 directly from PSN so there's no mistake whether or not I have early access. And I had only ordered the standard edition, not the CE so I'm not worried about that.
For everyone getting error 3. There is a fix. Just go to your profile after you log in and change it to english (US) Yes this works.
For psn issues make sure you are entering with all caps
Agreed. This is probably one of the worst product activation systems that I've ever used. Need a code to get a code that doesn't work because the site for some reason sees my profile as EU. Sigh. Really hope they get the customer support situation sorted out before go-live.
well im getting different errors now instead of invalid code when i try to enter it into the ps3..... dunno if thats a step up or down?
