You can check the Square Enix account management page to see if you registered an onion helm code, unless you purchased/received it from a third party. Other than that, I've seen no way to differentiate.Quote:

If I purchase the physical PC CE (for the physical swag) will I be able to use the registration code that came with it as the digital upgrade or would I have to purchase the PC CE as well as the digital upgrade to get both my physical and digital swag? Also, when I do attempt to preorder from the website, nothing happens. It just refreshes the page perpetually (the billing page), without stating that there's an error. -

The German Rep Sasunaich created a FAQ thread which contains a passage about adding 2.0 CE codes to a Standard 1.0 account. At first it was said that this would be possible, but there is an update about this in the FAQ thread.
