How do you view your character?

I switch between the three depending on who I am talking to. I would like to do more of C, but I balk somewhat at the idea of Roleplay.

B, to be shamelessly honest. Earth sucks. Hydaelyn sucked at one point, but now it's one of the three worlds I want to be reincarnated in the most when I die from the impending zombie apocalypse, the Demobots vs Republicons Civil War II of the future, or old age. Those three are: Gielinor, Cyrodil and Hydaelyn. Just pop me into one of those three and I'll be perfecto-mundo.

D. I don't treat my character as myself, but it's for that reason that I find them more interesting. I get to see their adventurers, and it's just a bit like watching them 'grow up' or the like. Aside from that though, the characters are a way for me to sort of focus how I interact with others, in which case I'm actually acting like the character, rather than, again, the other way around. In real life, I usually stick to simple codes of politeness and responsibility, but it's a bit rare for me to talk to people of my own accord. In the game world, whatever my character would do, I'll do, and I'll enjoy the interactions both through their eyes and my observing viewpoint--the two sort of blurred together. That may be why I don't usually like mentioning who my other characters are though... They're all me... but, they're also different from each other.

My characters are mostly themselves, I am just their narrator, (their Goddess if you will) I have created personalities for them and try not to deviate from it much, i find it a much more enjoyable experience when i have the chance to absorb myself in the game and give my characters a colorful and interesting personality, they have been around since ffxi and not much has changed from the jobs i choose for them to the ways they act...

Oddly enough I don't RP but I actually choose D: mostly because my character seems to be someone like me and unlike me at the same time XD like it's its own person >_>
