the only thing SE should do is merge it further with square enix accounts so that any online SE game you play you can still chat with your friends on the same or different games. Blizzard has a system in place where you play any of their newer games while online and you can talk to friends... Like someone playing Starcraft 2 can talk to someone playing Diablo 3 or WoW and so on.
SE has the basis to do this they just need to do it. -

Playonline was laggy shit but I did like the idea of a functioning link into the game (chat/mail/in game news) as well as easy way to adsorb other contents related (dev and not "in game" stuff).
Of course PO failed on all those useful accounts.. Just became extra buttons to get into the game XD
