Hi-top fade or bust.
Enough with the anime influenced hair. The hi-top fade has it all. Aerodynamics, a throwback-vibe. Women hate it, men love it.

"More hair styles would be great! I agree with the above poster, hair style is one of the most important visual characteristics of our characters and it really helps distinguish you in a group."
Negative. Hats and helms are. Seriously if SE got rid of "/display hat off" these stupid threads wouldn't exist
Give me Nanamo's hair and I don't care if we only have 1 choice~
I expect from any MMO released today to have at least 15-20 hairstyles per race and gender to pick from. FFXIV has very little variety, especially in some races.
What's more, in FFXIV all hair styles are lazy: they're short (presumably to prevent having to make realistic animations) and they have very little complexity.

one npc with long hair vs. many player characters with long hair has different technical challenges, It's like adding a mithra tail on the head, would there be clipping issues? where does it go when you wear a hat? how does it move when you swing a sword?, cast a spell? do the sexy pose? can the PS3 handle it? can we make it not look like clumps of Guado hair?
Ppl will say that i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure that PS3 will limit (or it's already limiting) ARR development
Think about for example a massive pvp 100 vs 100, or even a pve event with hundreds mobs and character on screen, or more complex hairstyle, "sliding options" (and not default) , a PS3 simply can't handle that, it's just not a graphical issue, but a gameplay, it will limit complex and big "events"
