1 Nov - Release Date ... What will you do?

GW2, Dishonored, BL2, TL2, Xcom, FFXI and AC3 (and whatever else takes my fancy I suppose)

Other than that, rl stuff I guess. It's not like I play XIV at all currently anyway.

Considering most will be playing more than testing..yeah xD.

I highly doubt it will be down for very long tbh. I would still say that they are probs trying to aim for a 2012 release date. During the downtime I'll prob play some AC3/Black OPs 2 or something to pass time, I would play RE6 but I just couldn't get into it at all. If picked for Alpha/Beta then I'll play that more than likely alot. o.o

Yeah I really can't see it being down for longer than 2-3 months. 5-8 months downtime is no way IMO, Wada would have their heads. Remember when Yoshi said it would take them another year if they wanted to add the other zones like Ishgard and then saying Wada would not be happy with that during the live letter?

Except Wada is why 1.0's situation happened to begin with so..yeah. I'm expecting it to be down till around summer 2013, especially if XI's expansion is in the first half of the year.

I bought The Last Story a while ago, had a nice discount on it so I jumped on the occasion, but I haven't had the chance to play it yet since I'm trying to squeeze FFXIV into every minute of game time I have. I guess downtime will be a good time to play it.

Assuming I get into the alpha/beta tests, that.

Assuming I don't, Assassin's Creed III and my Wii U.

Sorry for my ignorance but has it been confirmed that we'll all be beta testing?! :D

The fact that none of you have said you will be playing xcom makes me seriously question the people playing this game.
