Yes, and I'll tell you why. Do this after the final server save. Personally I'd love to know what my stats would have been with Darklight gear. After the final server maintenance and save have NPCs around that will start selling these items, all the items. Everything possible to obtain. Why? Just so people can mess around with it. After the final save we won't get to keep anything earned anyhow so why not let us indulge for now and goof around. Come ARR only those who had earned that gear pre-final save gets to keep it and everything else is back to normal.

they should of just did drops like garuda on all the primals in the first place, i still think it should be like FFXI.

theres probably going to be better stuff in ARR from the start, never know but its gonna happen.

I don't think OPs idea is a good one but I heard that once the servers go down there won't be a way to get fifrit/gardua weapons anymore?

Is this true? Do we have to get them now or lose out forever?

Probably already said..but isnt the final week a non data saved time anyways, so what would really be the point? Shits and giggles that you got the Primal weapon you always wanted, only to see it snatched away when the game finally gets shut down?

I think quite a few people wouldnt be able to handle it, at all. You've heard the stories of people going mental and killing family members for turning their games off before, right? This would start a fire that would be best not started at all.

Try again, the amount of entitlement people feel when playing a game is ENORMOUS. I mean HUGE. lol

I have done lots of Garuda runs up to this point and I have 0 Garuda weapons, maybe it's not that bad but compared to my mates who mostly got like 3 Garuda weapons in 1 night, or 7/7 in 20 runs, I feel kinda slow :p

This is not to complain about them, but It's to show that with the current RNG some people may go through hell just to collect these weapons while for some It can be as quick and easy like a breeze, so I'm all for Increasing the Drop-rates (not 100%) or reward the player's effort.
