SE owe me a Dodore Wing..

After reading all this stuff... Am i the only one who's not crashing in this game o.O... I crash or disconnect maybe once every 2-3 months... I can leave the game online for days w/o crashes...

i guess lesson learned here is not to give dodore wings to people who are tools

I hardly ever crash either.

Well... I have two different machines that I play on. One crashes about once a day, the other hasn't crashed in months.

Isn't the unstable and unresponsive server code half the reason we're getting 2.0?

I am indeed sorry for your loss, OP, but it's been said repeatedly that the crew on 1.x is small and focused on very specific things. o.O The reason they coded a new engine and are making new servers is precisely because of the instability and lagtacularness of the existing architecture.

Folks harping on about how 2.0 is overblown, and have little to no expectations from it, belittling those who do, to you folks, I have only one question to ask.

Knowing that 1.x is unacceptable, and believing that 2.0 won't be that much better, why the flaming hell are you still here? Go play something else. o.0 Put up, or clam up. One of the two.

ITT: No one cares about your hardship because it actually hasn't happened to them.

Trust me, your outlook on the matter would be different if you lost expensive mats to the servers crapping out.

This was exactly my point. It's not that SE hasn't put effort into fixing the problem, it's that fixing the problem takes so much effort that we haven't seen the fruits of it yet. The reasons for crashes are many and complicated, it's not a simple code change.

Happened to me several times...

I can usually trace it back to my ISP or my computer, very very rarely has it been server side, and even then....oh well life goes on, it's not something worth getting worked up over.

Shit has been happening since the dark ages. Homeboy isnt the first person to disconnect and lose out on something. MMO's have been plagued with disconnections, rollbacks, etc since time immemorial. I'm sure kats have lost more than the OP here. I could make 1 mil in a couple days, not that hard to get back.

Where do I petition for the Darklight harness I would have gotten the time we crashed mid miser fight?

If your client is crashing a lot the problem may be your settings?
