Thancred's new face

I really dislike the overall blurrier look that the faces have now. The old art style is clearer and sharper.

It's hard to tell with the lighting but I think the lip shape might be suffering from the same issue I've noticed on my female Midlander and some types of characters (particularly Erenville so far), where the surface of the cheeks curves inwards around the nose to the centre point of the lips rather than outwards to the corners of the mouth, so it looks pinched in the middle.

Oh. Huh. I haven't replayed anything since DT dropped so I hadn't noticed. But yeah wow that looks like how I'd expect Thancred's brother to look or something.

Poor Thancred used Matt Gaetz's face guy

I thought he looked a little off but not so much I couldn't tell it was him.

Not really a Thancred fan though so didn't bother me.

His lip is really much different to old model for me. Personally i didn't expect they'll change him back anytime soon. but i hope they'll see this feedback and consider about it too.

I agree that Thancred looked very off after the update, the screenshots posted in this thread exemplifies this. Many of his features have been flattened. Lips, nose and under the eyes.

Agreed. I have Midlander face 1, he looks way too much like my character. His face needs to be redesigned for the graphical update so that he looks like himself again.

Adding my support! He just looks so different and missing some of his charm points... ;w;

I thought it was just the lighting when I tried to do MSQ again starting in Ul'dah.. our handsome stranger is.. not so handsome anymore lol
