I first I thought this was just trolling but now I realize you've set up a honeypot for actually homophobic accounts, keep up the good work OP!

Wouldn't you rather those individuals not talk to you anyway? if they're filtering you out you won't interact with them much. Since people only say LGBT when they're discussing FC's that are lgbt friendly and such. Nobody says "man i sure feel LGBT today" or anything in conversations

intolerance is in people, whether they are on a videogame or in a senate or in a club it doesn't matter.

edit. Why do you thnink SE added the "ban from my house" feature? If you don't want to have anything to do with a club, why are they going in there?

Just because people are filtering LGBT doesn't mean there homophobic maybe people just don't want to see the variety of chat spam clutter shout chat. People need to stop taking offense on what other people choose to filter out or not care to see in a chat.

Truly? in FFXIV? Where you can get banned or punished for giving unwanted advice even on someones class.

You think this is the game where you absolutely must add onto every recruitment possible that they need to be LGBT friendly and that this might not be overdoing it a little? Your fear is unwarranted, I believe. Just don't add terms that are used in advertisment spam and you won't get filtered, people that care about it won't filter it anyway so you won't miss your targetted people anyway, just the ones that feel like that's not a message meant for them.

I felt like it'd be prudent to point that out. Given some of the things implemented in XIV and people like Yoship's stance, on top of you especially being particularly strange about Japanese culture.
