Having dialogue about the state of cheating and allowing people to expose themselves on the official forums as users of third party software is definitely going to improve the game.

I've cancelled my sub and I am in the having a conversation with a moderator about the state of the game through the support desk. I'm saying my piece and then moving on until things change.

Regardless of how you came to the conclusion, it is good to have this dialogue because it shows how honest people feel about the ffxiv community.
