Not according to the ToS, it's all the same cheating, in fact the producer has made a bigger deal speaking against lewd mod than raider cheats, so in their eyes someone using mods to give themselves a huge cock is far worse than a zoom hacker.

If they banned / prevented the mare and texture modders, they would lose half their subscriber base over night lmao. Ain't no way they are going to lose money on purpose like that.

Extremely gross exaggeration. Banning/preventing texture mods and mare would have a minimal impact on the number of subscribers. Additionally there isn't a way to block the people using tools to cheat that wouldn't nuke texture mods/mare in the process.

They cannot ban one without the other, especially since the Mare and Texture Modders have gotten more brazen with charging RM for mods. Either do all or none.

From what I see plugin users are not even hiding the fact anymore.
I have seen several Ultimate guide videos with plugins on display where names are not hidden.

This has gotten worse over a long time and will just continue.

Simple thought process:
1. More people clear content thanks to plugins; SE sees higher clear numbers; SE balances new content to be more difficult.
2. People think they cannot keep up with the increased difficulty; More people will install plugins.
3. Plugins get more popular; More groups will demand them; Plugins get mandatory. Just try to find a group for UWU that does not use AM.

WoW had the same thing happening, except Addons are allowed and therefore the adoption rate was much higher.

I have to say when I started to raid in FFXIV, it was a breath of fresh air learning the game without training wheels. But the stale stench seems to be returning.

You should put more thought into this process. Why should SE balance new content to be more difficult because of completetion rate? Hard content is there to drive engagement with people interested in such content, not to achieve an arbitrary percentage of clears. WoW isnt the same game as FF14, you cant just assume the things that happened in wow will happen in ff14 exactly like that. Wow isnt on console, ff14 is.

Almost guaranteed none of you would even quit the game lol. What are you gonna do play second life? I get that you want the mods to stay, but it's a funny idea to think you'd actually quit it over cosmetic mods being removed. Maybe 1-3% of mare users would quit if it was removed from the game. Real RP is based on imagination anyway.
