Why you keep comparing wow with FFXIV? it has nothing to do.
One game from 20 years ago has a fully open world map with pvp/ invasions etc while the other has small hubs with no open world and 0 pvp besides the non rewarding Frontlines mode

do you genuinly just flood the forums with the same posts over and over to annoy people? every thread u post is the same. no feedback. no advise nothing. just doom doom doom. posting these cookie cutter threads takes away from valuable discussion of actual improvements in the forums because these trash-fire ones get bumped instead from there click/rage bait titles
i genuinly dont think u want this game to get better, because if u did ud actually be engaging in it instead of constantly attacking CBU3

Goal will be early June probably and i guess we will see a swift mid-August release.
With the trailer it seem Krile is just like "Gramps was in golden city!? :O Let's go there!" If they do it that blatantly they might aswell break the 4th wall and go "let's go there, these are the new expac zones".
A.) It's not so much a comparison as relating past experience. Some people here are acting as if the time between patches is unbelievable and unprecedented (and adding the typical pathetic exaggerations to boot), while others are simply pointing out it's none of that, and we remember playing other games in bygone days where the patch schedule was significantly longer.
B.) If you're going to make a comparison (ironic given the first part of your comment), at least make an accurate one. World PvP in WoW has been dead since before TBC, and its corpse pummeled into the ground when "sharding" became a thing. The comment about you personally finding something non-rewarding somehow acting as if it's some kind of objective fact also just makes the entire commentary look egotistical and self-centered.
It’s not the long wait between patches that annoys me, it’s that every patch is designed to have a shelf-life of like 1 week but then there’s 6 months of just nothing. Content should be designed to last longer so the long waits don’t feel as painful.
I'll be the first to admit I am being selfish here but...
As a relatively new player, I am kind of thankful that the expansion won't be until at least several months into 2024. I've still got a ton of stuff I'd like to finish up before then.
