i know its rng...BUT there must be a pattern here....all these losses to the last minute bid

Only bid on my slot. Same house same slot available in 4 other wards with 0 bids (as well as the identical versions on the other “side”). Guy decides to bid over mine and wins.
This. With Island Sanctuary being such a large personal instanced area that allows for visitors, they’ve shown instanced housing is possible. And it’s a way that everyone could have the preferred plots. Just choose your location and size. Lav small? You get a 59. Lav medium? 41. And so on. Keep the wards for those that want them, but add instanced!
I have to think the reason there are not more mediums and larges is zone stability. If you walk around the wards several houses can easily be moved to the next size up with a lot dead space around them.
Feel bad for the people who missed out. And feel bad for the people who defend the development team.
Lost to another bidder. When I logged out 2 minutes before the deadline, I was the only bidder. Login to see 5 others bidding and one of them won.
I'm shocked Bad luck protection isn't in this game for this. Bad luck protection would mean that ppl would eventually get a house based on how they lost. Lost a small get a small bad luck ticket. With your odds getting better each time you lose. Yeah new bidders would not have good odds but they get a ticket for losing. That way if you keep at it you'll get it. feels better then this.
Had to leave to work 20 min before results, was only bidder . Hopefully I got it but with my luck some last min bidder came in and got it :/
Lost (again) by last minute bidder after I went to sleep and woke up for the news. I can't do anything with my money, it seems.
I just wish they would at least let us withdraw our bids. Bid on a house early in the week and it's hours before the drawing and there are now 4 bids on the one you did but 0 on some others around you? Let me take my bid back and move it over to a 0 bid house. That way it's now a 33% chance for the other people instead of a 25% chance and another house gets bought, too. It's win/win for everyone involved.
