Generally, I agree.
My comment was more at those who felt that not jumping ruined their immersion.
I would have liked to see context-jumping (FFXIII) or at least some sort of purpose to it. Jumping for the sake of jumping seems a bit silly, but w/e.

You all can't have everything. Its either this or we all start over from scratch. Like I've been saying for months now. 2.0 is a different game on a different server setup. Its like an IT of a business migrating all the workers information to a new Microsoft server. It takes time. Have fun with the beta while we wait for the transfer to complete. Catch up with some PS3 gaming, cuz I know I have a lot of that to do.
And who knows it might not take that long, but they wouldn't tell us this as they want us to alpha test the new game for a month.
Sorta tired of seeing people cry over Jump, I fine it useless. stop QQ that you can't use it in battle and etc and level up dragoon if u really want to use it in battle. On other note so hype up can't wait to test the beta
24-man raids right at launch. AWESOME.Quote:
GE: So are there any other new systems we can expect to see at at launch 2.0 that we don’t have now?
Yoshida: One thing that will be implemented at 2.0 launch will be new instanced raids that will require alliances of 24 players. In addition, for these, and other instanced raids, we will be adding difficulty selections. So players can play on normal difficulty and get certain items, but then try again on a hard setting in order to obtain better items.
Chocobo tank!
Yay, 24-man raids. Now I have something to look forward to.
I'm sure they'll change their minds when they realize you can have debuffs that are affected by movement (or lack thereof) and any melee DPS with an ounce of sense will start jumping to keep said debuff from stacking.Quote:
You won’t be able to jump to avoid Ifrit’s attacks or anything.
Thanks for the post OP!!!!!!
