People using these tools to reliably clear ultimates so they can later sell clears encourages lazy people that want shiny things to buy from RMT which makes the RMT stick around and make more bots because as long as people keep buying from RMT they won't go away.
I can't help but wonder if focused reporting on the level the streamers were subjected to but aimed at the bot farms in Eureka Pyros and/or Mare Lamentorum would actually produce results or not.
Classic "Whataboutism". X isn't an Issue what about Y. No no no, forget Y what about Z... And so on and so on. If you see bots go on, report them, convince people to do it as well. If anything so far I'd say it's more likely that reporting works over not working
Reporting bots: Meh, the system is so unintuitive, I'll just let this pass and be on my way. Someone else will report it, and besides SQEX will uncover them automatically...
Reporting streamers or known mod/AddOn users: I don't care what it takes, I'm rallying all my friends and FC fellows and reporting this guy!
Come on officer, why did you give me a ticket? What about all the drug dealers, thieves, and murderers?
Eh, they don't pay us nearly enough and the chief and mayor are at each other's throats due to their own personal hangups imo. Listen, you were going over the limit, I need to keep my job, here's a warning. If the dealers or murderers give you too much guff, um, just, uh, call 911 or something. Take care.
