To Devs about Adventurer Plates

I agree it should keep growing but don't think many people would like that idea for duties, I personally wouldn't mind it but seems like it would be intrusive for others XD.

However, I am of the impression that adventurer plates are a way for you to introduce yourself to others in a very public fashion. The equivalent of a business card. Further more unless set to private you can right click on the individual and inspect it. So it would stand to reason this is something players would want others seeing. After all you don't exactly hide your business cards, instead the goal is to distribute them.

So I am unsure what privacy concerns someone that designed an adventurer plate and has it set to public would have if its shown.

I mean, nice idea on paper but by the time those things even load on your screen, chances are the people you wanted to comm already left

Oh no. This screen would pop up and youd have all the time in the world to comm regardless of whether they left the dungeon or not. Yeah, if the plate disappeared as soon as they left it would be no good.

At that point I'd rather just have a fashion/portrait like n comment system like how PSO2 does.

This is actually one of the better ideas I’ve read on the OF. Great job OP.

I vastly prefer the current system. Small, unintrusive, there when you want it. Not in your face.

Maybe a fair compromise would be we keep the little commendations tab on the bottom right, only when you click it the personalised portraits come up? So anyone who doesn’t feel like giving comms can just leave as usual without seeing anything

Probably explains why so many people here seem to be against it for no good reason lol. I'm surprised they aren't lobbying for characters being replaced with blank boxes during instances so that someone's glamour isn't "intrusive" or something
