How long will this login que problem last?

1-2 months.

This is steam concurrent players around SHB launch, which can be roughly extrapolated out to represent fluctuations in the entire playerbase.

We gotta wait in a queue to play a basically single player game LOL

For a few weeks.

Server ques will be for a bit till new servers however the main issue would die down once those that rush to play to get to end game will die down prob soons or those that got tired and left

Years ago they weren't needing more servers and the ques were little to non-existence and if there was a que it went fast. The que times didnt pop up till about the start of the year which again that went pretty fast and thats when they stated to look into getting more servers since they were seeing a trend in ques getting long and longer during prime hours and have not been able to get a hold of one as of yet. Also there is instance housing just not the ones you want to be instanced

But this time around Blizzard is imploding in on itself so many WoW players are looking for a new home. Many of them have landed on FFXIV. Those that get hooked by the story will probably stay.

Idk, seems like a lotta these WoW newbies would be much more keen to hit up all those other games with definitely much more reliable hardware capable of flawless launch weeks.

I expect it will be much improved by January and slowly get back to normal by about the beginning of February, as all the people who are only here for the expansion get their fill and go back to playing a couple or so hours a month.

I managed to get 2 ps5s this year - I used a stock checking app (unpaid version)

Give it a few more weeks once everyone one has completed MSQ which doesn't take that long to complete.
