why FF14 don't do more collabs?

good crossover: organically integrating the lore and world of ivalice into the world and lore of eorzea

bad crossover: giant robot factory behind the dwarf mountains because ???

More collabs would be really nice. I want collabs with Doom, Duke Nukem, Flight Simulator, Desert Strike, Command & Conquer aaaaand Turrican!

by your forum join date I can see why you would think that. There seemed to be a fair bit of comment against the Nier raids. so saying it was universally loved is outright false.

I've already addressed the fact that the necessary talent doesn't grow on trees. I've already said that taking longer doesn't equal better skill without senior devs taking time to offer guidance (Which would be needed anyway to teach them how to impement their work into the game). I've already mentioned how hiring people just to work on a couple of glamours a year is ridiculously inefficient financially.

You clearly are only hearing what you want to hear.

Also I'm not sure how your point about there being no budget helps your case. If there's no more room in the budget where is the money to hire these junior devs going to come from? Unless you mean something else. The first part of your post doesn't make a huge amount of sense tbh.

You clearly miss my point. Get new people. Take the time for them to know the job. Then start working on the Collab.

I don't see why the staff they get in for that would not be better used making content for 14 rather than making collabs.
