Only problem with outfits is they aren't account-wide. If they would probably would see more people willing to buy them. I for one would pick up a few them that I don't see being worth it as single char purchase.

I'd be almost ok with the prices if they were like the lowered sale prices all the time (at least for furniture or dyes) and if all items were account-wide.
I think I once read that they only have a limited number of slots for account-wide items because of some technical limitations, that's why they can't make everything account-wide. Don't know if that's true, but it sounds weird enough... ;D
I made a bargain with myself that I only buy a cash shop outfit when I'm going to someone's wedding in game.
In real life, I'd be thrilled at a nice new outfit for $20. And in game, it means I can show up to their wedding in something new and shiny.
This method works out well to keep me from splurging on every single new outfit they add, but also to give me a nice treat and a reason to go to in game weddings when I am invited!
Yes, I was paying attention to sales prior to Rising. The sales were for fantasias and for story/level skip packs which I don't need or want. The sale for the stuff I did want didn't go long enough for me to get more than a few very low price items. I know you all are super rich and can afford everything you want, but some of us are not so lucky.
I already played ESO before playing this. I bought nothing from their cash shop.
The more I hear the term "technical limitations" from Squeenix the more I think it's a convenient excuse they came up with on the fly.
I """"wasted"""" 200$ on a picture
They aren't going to tailor prices in the store to suit you and only you. It has nothing to do with anyone being super rich or anything else. If you can't afford it, then you can't have it. Period. It is the same for most of us here with anything.
If they have a sale, great. If they don't, then the price is the price. As long as people pay it, it will continue.
If you could stave off buying things from other cash shops in other games, then the same can be done here. There is nothing in the shop needed to play the game.
Sorry but this sounds extremely st*pid. Are you familiar with the word "Luxury"? because that's exactly what those items are. Things made for the people who can pay for them. Plain and simple. On the top of that, those luxuries are 100% unnecesary to play this game at its fullest.
It's like complaining about not being able to afford a Ferrari or the latest iPhone.
Oh, if only that were the case. No, I'm not even remotely rich at all and I doubt that's the case for most of the people here either. I just know how to budget for the occasional online purchase if I truly can't live without it. Even if it takes me months to do so.
Ah that's fair, I retract my earlier statement then. I hadn't realized Tera had gotten that bad since last I played.
Yeah, exactly. Most people have to take it a day or a week at a time. I'm no different. If I want something from the cash shop, chances are I have to make a choice between that or something else because I generally can't do both. There are far more important things to worry about most of the time.
