Well at least we went a solid 6 pages before someone started to cry.

I remembered that when game just released, every servers have population around 2000+ ( yup, and it laaaaag like hell )
So the total subscribers are very small...I wish SE won't pull the plug this not-a-cash-cow game ; ;

FFXIV's only real next gen competition right now is from free to play games since rift and ToR are not exactly winning the prize. ...and with all due respect to Age of Conan... This game will be fine after 2.0

980 people which are rendered better than most games, and with a system that only allows you to load 40 people physical people on your screen at a time, which creates more lag. Just keep that in mind.
