If we didn't find the outside world at least somewhat boring, then we probably wouldn't be playing video games in the first place.

Because when a MMO. ANY MMO. has their server go down for unscheduled maintence and especially for prolonged periods, you get a bunch of people who want the servers up ASAP and they start bitching about it.Quote:
I'm reading this thread and wondering why all the angry emotions.
Japan is no stagnant, its in shock, about 300.000 from 130.000.000 people were affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Do the maths, its 0.20% of the entire population. Yeah, we know its sad, people died but the country it's not collapsing. You guys talk like entire country was destroyed.
And then you get the other loud 10 people telling everyone to get a life and go outside.
The people making those products? The operators who manage the servers? I mean, they'd have to in order to continue to do what they do, make money, and provide for their families, who probably appreciate their efforts, especially at this moment in time. That's just my guess, though.
Yes lets shut down the whole game and entertainment industry. It is surely what Japan needs after a catastrophic event like this! Especially as billion figures are being thrown around as what Japan will needs to rebuild.
