While I don't agree that the mechanic needs to be removed, there are a lot of people ragging on those who are trying to find workarounds like charts or whatever to try and solve the mechanic (see the thread that is currently right below this one lol) so I'd argue more understanding needs to come from the community.

I don't know about your case, but I generally see far too many people jumping on "math too hard" bandwagon. It's not math that is hard in this mechanic, but mechanic itself. With the time allocated one could literally use calculator to check every possible option until they hit right answer. The reason people have problems is that it requires more thinking than simple moving out of red circle and majority of players just aren't used to that.

If anything I'd welcome more mechanics like this one.

As someone who has mild dyscalculia, this mechanic is painful :p but I'm happy for the variety. If I screw up, I screw up. I didn't even get we had to use our hp as base on my first run.
I don't think it's hard mechanic, it's more like our brain is turned on active mode during a fight. We're playing, we're pressing buttons, doing rotations and watching out for AoEs and suddenly - stop! Do this math!
It's normal to go "uhh...what?" and mess up even when you know basic math.

But does it matter honestly? The boss has no enrage, there are litteraly 23 other player that can carry your eventual two deah because you get 2 wrongs answers.

I mean, THIS is unnaceptable for people with disability but things like God Kefka or Ultimate are fine?
(you say learning disability but i'm pretty sure you've learned to do 1 digit addition/substraction at school)

I see my HP number, I see what construction 7 wants, then I run through the circles one by one until I find a number that matches. (or I stay outside a circle if the number already matches)

... well, it would be nice if I didn't have to go through the motions of clearing Kefka to get to Godka, or Exdeath to get to Neo.

But the time sunk to beat the boss if you don't get the damage buff from correct answers can easily grow to unfair proportions, and dying means you lose the buff (even if it's because the healers in your alliance are dead, and the other's don't want to lift a finger to help the MT).

I'd like it if they reduced that buff's potency and Construct 7's health, so having a near wipe or multiple failures of the counting doesn't punish you with a longer fight.

Well that's a different issue if you ask me. (But I get your point)

Personally my hardest part with it is reading the condition :P Would be nice if there was a big flashy sign or actual dialogue for that lol. "blip blop bleep give me a prime bleep!" XD No but seriously i do kinda get where OP is coming from it does mess with anxiety some lol, i can do it but I get like "oh man doctor appointment time!" vibes from that fight at times XD

He always anounces the conditions in a massive text box on screen. "Calibrate vitals to multiples of 3/4/5" Or "Calibrate vitals to primes"

It shows up in the chat box, which is generally where I watch for it. Not sure if you need your filters set a certain way to see it.

My biggest problem with the mechanic is healers that forget they need to heal the party afterwards so you end up dying to Incinerate even if you did it correctly. :P
