How is that? I highly doubt that they put the whole update team on the few bugs that delayed the patch.

That said, I still expect a 1-2 week delay as in almost every precedent patch, which doesn't mean that they are cumulative.

Today is the beginning of the weekend, which means nothing till monday.
The week of the 30th. NOW, Valentines day is Tuesday the 14th, and given the patch history if i am correct, Thursday is a good bet, which means to get it out before Valentines day would be the 9th, needing the final checks to begin on the 6th. That leaves ONLY this coming week for final work on 1.21
If they were only one week away, we'd know by now.

To release on the 16th would give them 2 weeks, but i am uneasy about this likely hood.
I certainly hope so, but i think that the best we can hope for is that they are THREE weeks of work away from completing the patch, which means a release of on or around February 23rd.

When: I'm guessing early feb until they tell us otherwise. (I try to let them know I'm hopeful)

What's in it: 100% jobs and logically ui adjustments for jobs, 1 dungeon at the very least, personal chocobo gear 99.9% because they advertised it. HQ changes probably, and in the same vein GC promotions because they're easy enough to do and I'm sure they have a lot of this stuff premade.
*percentages are chances I think they'll be in 1.21

What I need (personal obviously): all recipe adjustments, slot cost abolition - if these aren't in 1.21 its not game breaking for me, but I'll be disappointed.

Well I sure hope they've put the alchemy and culinarian adjustements in because those have been promised since forever and CUL is still by far the worst and most useless class in the game.

Edit: AAAAAAAAAND there's gonna be a 1.20c.

Theres a lot of negativity around will we actually get all this but remember this is not what they have made since the last patch. They have separate teams working on subsequent patch content, of course they have to link it all together but they have been talking about the two new dungeons for example for some time, before 1.2. They also pushed back new jobs from 1.2 to 1.21 from memory, i may be wrong but I don't think it unreasonable to expect all/most of these things quoted to arrive in 1.21. again yes, there could be something pushed back as it isnt ready but most of these things, we will get.

Regarding housing, I'm sure that for now it will just a be an inn, similar to rent-a-rooms in FFXI. Worst case scenario, it will just be a single, already furnished room where you can log off and get some rested exp when you log on and that's it.

Apparently patch is being delayed.

Of course this is just a rumor from 2ch, but if it is true I would much appreciate more honesty and having the devs tell us this before it shows up on a magazine.
