I'm kinda unsure how I feel about the Excogitation buff to be entirely honest. On the one hand it's useful and ensures the skill is never wasted, yet on the other hand if it actually falls off without meeting the minimum healing requirement the cooldown for the skill has already come and gone. Which means you can just have another excogitation ready for the process to be repeated over again. I don't think there's going to be any content where this will necessarily be an overt problem but I'm worried about the slow power creep with SCH that might see another nerf down the line. I feel SCH was probably the most balanced it's ever been in 4.1 and while this addition is helpful, I worry what might happen to the job if we're given any more buffs like before. SE already nerfed SCH into the ground once and it made SB almost cancerous to level through before they fixed things. I don't want to see that happen again because they can't leave well enough alone. /However/ I'm reserving judgment for now. I'm only going to be concerned if the power creeps gets out of control in the next patches.

The rest? Only Doomtrain really excites me honestly, as does the FF6 references as a whole, but Doomtrain has been something I've wanted since I first started playing so it's higher on my list. I'm not sure how I feel about everything else.

I could swear they added stuff to the full patch notes that wasn't items before, but maybe I'm mistaken... Hmmm.

Oh well, we'll see soon enough.

I wonder how many hairstyles will be added in this patch, we have seen two hairstyles, but both hairstyles are very feminine. Does this mean we will get 4 hairstyles? 2 for masculine and 2 feminine? Personaly, I hope its the later, more hairstyles the better.

EDIT: I am wrong, the second hairstyle looks more neutral, this probably means only two hairstyles this patch.

Well, to be completely fair, which job was the job that actually beat floor 200 of potd solo again? Just sayin', don't bash me too hard..

I like that giant wall of WAR adjustments and then there's that microscopic footnote about DRK.

inb4 Vercure nerfs. That said, succeeding in solo content and one that relies heavily on rng shouldn't be taken as the be all end all indication of a job's worth in party content which is the vast majority of content in this MMO

Because old content is a fair stick to measure it by...

Yes, an outlier among outlier rdm with extreme luck solo'd palace of the dead to floor 200. Not saying this to condescend or bash, but it doesn't change that RDM is good for prog and nothing else at endgame.
