If you know a tank buster is coming well in advance because you know the fight the real strength of Excog is using your last Aetherflow 20ish seconds before the buster, popping Aetherflow, and now effectively having 4 Lustrates to deal with the buster. I mean 30 seconds is half the cooldown of Aetherflow, If your Aetherflow is off cooldown and you have one more stack left, and you are going to very soon need to heal a giant spike popping Excog instead of an Energy Drain may be worth it as it lets you precast that Lustrate and not have to either hold the 1 charge or simply waste the 1 charge on an energy drain.
