This is not FFXI, they are meant to be obtainable by anyone, an option for non raiders, SE said this themselves.

Would have been easier just to allow access to your achievements public view. Relics are an alternative to raids yes SE did say that and I'm not arguing that. My point is that Relics aren't for any one who doesn't have the patience nor drive to do the grind. Why should people bother if it's so time consuming? The answer is simple, to stop saying that they are unable to get decent weps. What happens when people complain about relics being to hard? they gave diadem and still people complain. That is my point. When people can't put time and effort they make up excuses and still want it done easy. A month may be too much for some. Old content perhaps, newer even by tooth and nail I give it min 2 months tops 5 months with out a crafting jobs. A month if you have alot time is possible. Just not with daily alone.
