like i said, it is a self created problem. the playerbase are the only ones hurting anyone.
if the devs put a job in the game, it was made to be playable in all contents.
if you decide all tanks are shit besides paladin because of hallowed ground and you dont want any tank besides paladin in your raid group and its an idea that trickles down and sticks with the community, that would be a decision you all made collectively in spite of the fact that every job is supposed to be viable. it may persuade developers into changing a job if there is a legitimate concern where a lot of players in the community are not letting players of a certain class play with them just because they are playing that class.
some people don't know what it was like getting back to back 3k inner beasts but i do. vengeance used to not even be a damage reduction CD lol. i also remember soloing ifrit from 25% while current contents
but all of that was changed because of how players in the community were treating Warriors. they are still pretty fun to play but inner beast was changed to heal for much less and grant a 20% damage reduction for 6s on use, which arguably made them better tanks than Paladins and that was the end of that.
