[NA] Has anyone's Encyclopaedia Eorzea shipped yet?

Mine arrived today in one of the original boxes used by the supplier. I received it intact and that is what matters. However, what bothered me was the stock sticker still on the box stating exactly what was originally in it: "FFXIV Fanfest Lore Book Qty:5". Might as well have it state "Please steal me, this is exactly what I am".

Minor gripe I guess... It did give me the 3rd Parties that printed and assembled a great book though. Hats off to them on top of Koji and team.

And no, only one Lore Book was inside before ppl ask :P

So it took 8 days from order date to receive the book after paying for express shipping. EIGHT DAYS for express. My confirmation timestamp was less than two minutes after the book went on sale. With 2-day shipping it was also shipped out on a Friday so it sits around doing nothing all weekend. I need to stop ordering things to be shipped via 2-day from the store because it seems they usually end up sitting on orders for days and end up shipping out on Thursday or Friday. Why even bother with 2-day shipping if shipment isn't going to even happen until the weekend impacts delivery anyway?

Ouch. Sorry fam. Makes me glad I stuck with standard shipping. Mine should be arriving tomorrow.

I choose standard shipping on everything I order online, never felt the need to spend $30 to get it the next day when standard shipping is only like $5 and sometimes only takes couple days anyways depending on where it being shipped from.

Still have 3 days left on mine with the cheapest shipping option. When you don't have the "ships within" guarantee on an item I've found more times than not, it's not worth the extra price on fast shipping as most only pay that with the expectation that it will ship out within one day. Without the guarantee you have to decide if it's worth it just to have a few days less transit time whenever the shipper gets around to sending it.

Just got an e-mail for putting my name down on the wait list. Paid right then and there, though the e-mail itself contained a whole write-up on how they were doing a second printing scheduled for sometime in November? So I have no idea if I wound up ordering a book for then, or one that they turned out to have still in stock after sorting through the current orders.

My book was last scanned in Nashville since October 22, 3:56 AM. No new updates. They must be walking it to L. A.

I was informed I'm gonna get taxed by customs.

Book $50
Shipment $49
Taxes $105

Now, $1 equals R$3,10 so... I'm fucked.

Received my book today via UPS. I paid $8.00 for the cheapest shipment.

I should be getting mine tomorrow :)
