Not quite right. If you look at the data, the times are the same each and every time. They are all designed to finish the afternoon in Japan on the day of the weekly reset. The start times change based on the amount of time they need. I think the really long ones (24 hours) are probably driven by physical changes in the regional data centers. Everything else can be done remotely.
The maintenance times are all driven by operations resource considerations. SE does NOT change and has never changed the times around to spread out customer impacts.
OMG you will loose a day or whatever, big deal

You won't find sympathy here. Alternatives are:
1. No maintenance at all = no patch
2. separated maintenance for US time zone (which you will then whine about because everyone else got the patch about 12h before you.
Take your pick, BRU!
