Alexander Appreciation Thread

bismark could have been awesome , the battle zone at least is different "enough" , and the ultimate attack and the attack on the island are awesome....the battle is boring as hell tho , fight adds and more adds....burst some part of the boss and thats it...

Alexander , on the art work it looks menancing...ingame? :( ....is still "moving" but meh...looks so small....and the inside bosses are boring and generic at best.

btw , Alexander deserves better than this ! treat it him better....the final judgment is coming!!!!!

Isn't whatever the dungeon was called at the end of Heavensward basically what you're describing? Add a ton more health to bosses and double their size, turn it into an 8 man and there you go, you now have a raid. A normal mode raid anyway, with both an amazing boss at the end and then a trial with an even more amazing boss.

I always thought Omega from Dirge of Cerberus was th same as Alexander, both giant bosses. But as far as Alexander id go with FFXII.

If that was the case it would have actually been a GOOD story.

I'm sure SE has a surprise in store for us when the final battle of final Alexander: Anchurus (or less likely Lityerses, following the scheme of Gordias, father of Midas, who may have had the aforementioned sons, neither of which had a long happy life) occurs on the shore of the lake fighting Alexander in all his glory and the concept art comes to reality when Holy Judgement is finally cast upon us.
Or we can go the lame route and the final battle will be inside Alexander, and there will be much complaining throughout the forums about it.

I would have liked it if Bismark had a similar mechanic as cerberus/ A4 Quarantine where some members are "swallowed" and have to fight inside it's stomach
