Harassment of DoL in Diadem via DF

Huh? It's not even remotely the same. First of all, not everyone even has a gatherer. You joined a party and you're screwing the rest of your party cause you want to do solo content. It's exactly what's wrong with society today. I for one choose to think about how my actions effect those around me, while ppl like you just don't give a damn about anyone but yourself. I'm not saying I'm always going to get what I want, but when I join a PARTY to do content that requires PARTY participation, I do expect everyone in the PARTY to participate. I try my hardest to not screw over anyone I get partied with, even if I'll never see them again. It's just be a decent person

The thing is, gatherers have all power to ruin Diadem trips to equipment farmers when joining through DF.

I suggest that if you're doing gathering you can easily try PF instead, and join or create linkshells for that.

Not that any gatherer deserves any harassment, but since when gathering you can actually spoil the whole trip for equipment farmers, it would be reasonable to find ways not to do so by pre-forming parties at DF or through linkshells.

I want to farm mats from diadem but it's awful to join a DF and farm without ask. I feel horrible to do it and i avoided that.

Our FC has 4 ships so i join with another member, unlock fly and i gather all the mats i can during 90 mins. I do this during morning or late night with less member insterested to run diadem 210 farm.

You don't need a full party to go Diadem, at least 2 players are enough and obviously, a ship.

Free company airships only have a 5 minute down time so you shouldn't need to worry about when you're taking the fc airship. You can be in there gathering and others take it to farm 210s almost right after.

DoW don't effect DoL by not gathering, but the reverse has a huge effect on DoW. Honestly the best solution to this is for SE to allow DF to be undersized like you can with an FC airship. Or allow members to enter into DF under separate objectives

The only leechers are the dps who can't manage to do enough damage with one person down to get chests, and feel like they need to blame the single gatherer.

At least when we get chests it gives something that's actually worth something other than a mark. I'll gladly give you a useless 150 pink for the mat worth thousands.

This is exactly the problem. When one person goes off and does whatever they want it can ruin the other 7 people's time. That's not okay. That's absurdly selfish.

Newsflash: most people arent there for 150s.
Ill give you brass too if you have anything interesting to offer. if its just 1000s of virtual coins, nty. Those are worthless, and you can make them in billion ways without involving others in experiences they dont want to make. You may have tried to sound badass, but to me you just sound pretty poor :D

its arguable if the "only leech" is somebody failing to contribute to the parties true goal, or somebody not even trying. And saying people suck for not being able to win 8v7 pvp contests is retarded. Not every party in the diadem has to deal with it, yours does.
It doesnt have to mean they are doing bad either since there is no standard/bar. Maybe other players are just doing good, then again they dont have to seeing how its 8v8v7v6 or 6v5v5v4 in terms of dps or whatever constellations you can imagine (some pfs go 1t2h5d others go 1t1h6d fyi. And i cant wait for the day they go without tanks to get more dps and rely on other groups to tank once off the island. Not like anyone tanked mobs there anyway, but yea) :rolleyes:

I was thinking an easy solution would be to scale the required dps for getting chests, based on how many people in your party are currently gathering.

It can get frustrating when you go in to farm gear, and it turns out you're stuck with a partial pre-made for gathering. Happened to my gf and I yesterday, 5 of the party were gathering, and only 1 other person was there to farm gear. We ended up just leaving because we couldn't get any chests to drop.

You should learn DF is gathering diadem run, not loot farm.

Search a party finder, not gather/afk/leavers, with greed 150/180 and need 210. You will "enjoy" more if you like grind dinosaur/triceps.

If you have problem with DF just create party via PF. And this is for both sides, gatherers and fighters. Dont expect DF to be fight only or gatherer only. But it seems there is trend that DF will be mostly gatherer runs, so OP should be ok.
