4.0 Where will we go? what class (or classes) will be added

Given the arrival of Krile in 3.1 and the reveal that she has a new, unique weapon type (a crystal ball) I'm willing to bet her job may eventually be playable.

As far as 4.0 is concerned though I'm fairly certain we'll be liberating the conquered nations of Ala'Mhigo and Doma in preparation for 5.0 being the counter-attack on Garlemald. SAM and BLU are definite contenders there but I know Yoshi also wants to get RDM in at some point. It's hard to guess to be honest since they can so easily rewrite the lore of jobs to fit any new culture they add.

My action bars are begging that, no matter what we do or where we go, please just give us new Traits instead of new abilities. They are weeping at the thought of trying to accommodate one more skill.

I want to go to Meracydia to take a break from Eorzea and get Allagan technology to beat the Garleans.

This is why I think blue mages is such a possibility, and with that I'll be paying jalzhan a visit. Also I think se missed an opportunity with puppet master since mammets + pugilist are both available. Entertainment and bodyguards for the sultana.

It looks like 3.x will have us handling business in Ishgard/Dravania for the duration, unless the devs have some curveballs set up for us. 4.0 might send us closer to Garlemald but not quite to their front door. Ala Mhigo & Doma sound like prime locations for a few more skirmishes with the Garleans--don't be surprised if we see a Besieged- or Campaign-type battle scenario implemented considering the location.

As easy as it is to see Samurai being released, it is still difficult to see how Red or Blue Mage become integrated with the jobs we have currently.

For Red Mage:

1) Which role will it play? By definition, it would have to be average at all of them but have it's own skill set that set them apart. A Hybrid Role would have to be created for them and other mentioned jobs.

2) What spells & abilities will it have that will give it an identity that other players will want in their team without them being pigeonholed because of 1 or 2 abilities/spells?

For Blue Mage:

1) What monster abilities will they be able to learn, and how many? How will they be organized for maximum effect?

2) What stats would determine how quickly spells are learned?
