Worried and wishing the best to everyone affected by this horrible disaster. Stay safe during these rough times.

I'm following almost every hour the nuclear power plant news but still not something concrete about it. Hope for a fast resolution :( Very worried about..
-
Luckily it seems that the radiation danger at the nuclear reactors is slowly receding, at least according to the Times (despite their usual habit of trying to make everything "not said" as as a signal of imminent catastrophe, but that's journalists for you)
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/13/wo...ewanted=1&_r=1
hopefully things will be fully under control soon. It'll take about 10 days for the reactor to be fully cooled, but if everything goes well, the danger should be gone earlier than that.
-
Anyway, there are only old and little certain official information for a nationality.
Now approximately 3:00 AM JST (UTC+9hours), but I cannot catch new information of the plant.
(sea water injection to the reactor scheduled to complete 1:00 AM JST)
There is no Japanese media to say cooling-down the reactor was succeeded at this time.
I want to think the news of New York Times was true.
It reported little by little that suffering of Tohoku-region.
I do not want to believe, but at least over 1000 people were killed (Officially count), and several helicopters reported countless bodies that died by drown (victims of tsunamis) were washed ashore.
Even now, tsunami warning does not call off, so rescue teams cannot reach that ashore area.
A town was completely destroyed by over 7 meter tsunami. It was … like Hiroshima city after the WWII. There was nothing, only flatland and some utility pole.
I’m so sad to see and hear such news.
I have no religion. I have believed only science and technology, but now I feel I and human works are so helpless.
I’ll go to bed; these two days were too sad days for me and all Japanese people.

Wow, I hope all goes well for the people in Japan and any affected areas.

After seeing the footage, I would like to express my deepest condolences and I hope that families of the development teams are alright! Our prayers are with you.

Looks like they found the four missing trains that were swept away by the tsunami. Luckily all the passengers were safe.
