Alright.. since the drop of Patch 3.05, I've gotten like non-stop 90k errors and just substantial amount of difficulty doing anything for more than 10 minutes without it occurring. I've tried multiple routers, called my ISP, have done countless resets on those multiple routers; and nothing is having any effect on the problem.
I think some of your staff should highly look into what you guys did over the Patch 3.05, and maybe the recent hot-fixes, because this problem seems to only be snowballing over itself. Just watching my FC chat alone, I see a good 10-15 people having to reconnect almost every 15 minutes. I've never really had problems like this until literally the most recent patches have come into play. I'd get a little 90k here and there, but this is like a non-stop string of them.

Funny thing, under resolved issues section they have this 90002 error crap down as resolved. Can confirm this is happening very frequently on Zodiark server, and to be honest the lack of dev response is pathetic. Frankly the broke something and don't have a clue what it was. This is frankly ridiculous, and i've heard it won't be properly addressed until 3.1, which has no confirmed date other than Octoberish. Am I the only person, if this is true, that thinks this is total bs?

I've also been getting these issues since Alexander Savage patch, no rhyme or reason to the disconnects, have never had issues since 2.0 launch, internet is perfectly fine otherwise, directly connected to router
-
Also been having connectivity issues and had been getting 6-20 second lags, then 90k'd, multiple times a night (Hawaii time). At first I checked with my internet provider and will be getting my modem replaced (I'm directly connected via ethernet to my router) so we'll see if it does the trick.
I've been noticing lately that there have been more frequent careless mistakes on SE's part, resulting in weekly (sometimes bi weekly) maintenance, and there being more problems listed after maintenance performed. Makes me wonder if their dev team is not doing so good or they let go a bunch of people and are now understaffed, where minor and major unchecked problems slip through.
Note that I barely had any connectivity problems after 3.0 dropped and the problems started after the 7/27 maintenance.

The internet also hit July's peak for HTTP traffic on 7/29 (possibly due in part to more people opting in to the Win10 upgrade). Unfortunately, they've revamped that page and we can't actually pull up the historical data to see just what those numbers were, but you can track internet traffic elsewhere and see it has been on a steady increase, like the IPV6 traffic here or the Cisco data and projections they published a few months back.
The problem is that North America's infrastructure has not been beefed up well enough to prepare for the traffic boom, and we see issues nearly every time there is a big spike in general (like major sports or other entertainment events, important election cycles (like right now, with debates starting and all the people streaming/commenting on them), major game releases and/or operating system releases--remember, Win10 just hit the wire on the 22nd).
The point is, there has been a LOT going on over the internet...straining a system that was already buckling under the traffic as is. Need to look at just what is going on with your sessions...you may find signs of problems in route to the servers.

Have had this error and disconnect happening to me for about and hour and half now. I can log back in immediately but the lag becomes horrible and i eventually get the 90002 disconnect error. It was happening to me a few weeks ago in Alexander also

Mine was 90k-ing about every five minutes for awhile tonight, had to be over an hour. It finally calmed down around...maybe 3am EST for me? I'm not sure what's going on, but it was highly annoying. At least now I can try to work on Proof of Might...again...
Hope everyone else's connections get back to working soon!

I was just having a terrible menu/logout lag issue that turned into 90002 just a few minutes ago

Same 90002 problem here with 2 characters from Tonberry & Moogle.
On my end, I noticed this happens only when I'm in open world anywhere but no errors in a dungeon / trial / raid (duty).
Whenever I login and immediately register to duty finder, instant duty poped up (ofcourse as a Tank) and played thru without disturbance but once the duty is over and back to open world .......... 90002 strikes
