im disapointed w/ the op. he makes no points, that, do not sup,port hi,s, arguement at, all.

On another note, here is a list i posted somewhere else. I'm not going to make a new topic but if anyone reads it and was or is a player of FFXI then the list might actually surprise you. The point of this post is to show that good things take time. FFXI is a great game (released in 2002...almost a decade old!)and even so, it took a long time to get a lot of the things many people took for granted.

This is a great list... most people talk about how FF 11 was much better off on release but it was as big if not bigger mess up/disappointment. The game was bare bones dry and only reason it was bearable among mmo players is the player base was much more accepting back then and there was alot less mmo competition! You forgot to point out a few things about subjobs (Unless I didnt see on list) otherwise this is great and even goes into the time before the game hit NA shores (Which was over a year or something after release).

FF 11 was a downright horrid game the first year and a half or so... this doesn't excuse 14 but Tanaka produced another steaming pile of poo that needed a huge workover and was released WAY too early! Changes DO take time and in the end I'm sure this game will do great... won't win first place or anything but it'll be great for the people who have the patience to see it through just like 11 and the Japanese players who had to suffer with it (They were even charged subs at the time unlike 14, so not like it's all that bad!).

Speak for yourself OP. ;) I love this brand new xiv! and its only going to get better.
